Pros: The free WIFI
Cons: The shower room needs a new door which dooesnt allow water to get out. They should give up the rooms on the 5th floor.
Upon cheking in, the staff guided me to another building (the house). This building was not attached to the main lobby and I had to walk outside to get to it. My room was in top floor but elevator only goes to the 4th floor. From there I had to carry my suitecase and perosnal belongings through a very narrow and curved stairway. The room was just ok and did not worth the price I was charged. The hotel should give up on the rooms in this 5th floor or offer it with a large discount only for those who are interested.

Clean hotel, cold staff

Posted 29-Aug-2014
Pros: Fantastic location. Clean, well maintained.
Cons: Client facing staff needs to be trained, badly. No lotion, conditioner, robes, smiling staff...This is in NO way a 4 star hotel.
Location: Great location. Everything is close, which is perfect because you certainly want to get out of the hotel asap.
This is a perfectly serviceable hotel in a good location but is like a 1980's Best Western in a David Lynch film. When I arrived I was treated like an annoyance and the woman at the front desk pulled out a map, drew two swift lines saying "Here's the shopping" as though there would be no other reason to go to Bruges. The room was tidy but it and the hotel lobby have no character, nothing that would make you want to catch your breath or hang out. Worst was the breakfast experience: the food was fine but the unsmiling staff bark at people to move tables if they don't sit where there are the exact number of seats as their party. I walked into an empty room my first morning, sat down at the closest table and was shortly, and curtly, told to move to a smaller table since I was on my own. The main hostess, I think, looked at and spoke to people like they were imposing on her personal home. Just creepy.

Good location - request a room in the main hotel.

Good location. Staff friendly enough. Breakfast ok but nothing special. Our ' upgraded' rooms were in a block next door. The staircase is winding and very narrow and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The lift is ridiculously small and takes only one person if they stand up straight. Reject the upgrade and ask to stay in the main hotel would be my advice.

Excellent hotel close to center of Bruges

Posted 05-Aug-2014
Pros: Cleanliness, breakfast, convenience, and supportive staff.
Cons: Nothing at this time.
Location: The location is two blocks, an easy walk, to the center of Bruges.
The hotel was near the center of Bruges; and convenient to tour the city. The hotel staff was very helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. We would certainly consider the Aragon if we return to Bruges.

Nice hotel close to all sights.

Pros: helpful staff, who all spoke good English.
Location: Everywhere was in easy walking distance.
Very nice stay in a lovely city. Not much on site parking but we got a space right outside our room. It couldn't have been any closer. Bed was comfy.

Decent hotel in Brugge center

Posted 06-Jul-2014
Pros: Location, generally friendly staff, good breakfast
Cons: Cleanliness of rooms, quality of maid service.
Hotel very well located and is only a few minutes walk from the central square as well as adjacent to a pay car park. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room facilities reasonable. Main disappointment was the comfort of the bed and pillows, which were relatively hard and lumpy but liveable with, and the dirty carpet, which was long overdue a clean. The latter was particularly unacceptable given an active, crawling 14 month old- her hands and feet needed wiping every 5 minutes. Finally, the maid service was not efficient leaving us to ask for towels, soap, etc. from reception.

Loved bruges and this hotel. Right from the girl greeting us we felt welcomed. The room had everything. It's seconds from the market square. Walk anywhere in minutes. Would live there if I could.

Great location in Bruges

Fantastic girly weekend away. Hotel is very central yet quiet. Good sized rooms, very comfortable, easy walking distance of the main square, boat trips, etc. Would definitely recommend.
