“Well-presented, quality hotel”

A very nice hotel, outside of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast was very nice (although a little expensive) and the dining room and lobby were both clean and well-presented too. The only negatives about this hotel are its distance from the city centre, and the price of the extras (though everything in Brugge seems a bit more expensive). I would gladly stay here again and would recommend this hotel to others.

“Impressed”

We stayed in this hotel over a long weekend, and would recommend this to anyone! Even though the hotel was a bit of a trek out of the city, it was only a short taxi ride in and the hotel had a special rate with a local taxi company. The rooms were clean and big as we had a travel cot to put up in the room also. Overall, an enjoyable stay in the hotel and a wonderful city to visit.

“Very friendly people made this a fantastic trip”

The first thing that struck me about this hotel were the staff-very helpful, hardworking and friendly and this makes all the difference when you are staying somewhere. Our trip was fantastic Bruges is a great place and i would recommend this hotel to everyone. 1, it is good value for money(when i tried to find somewhere close to the centre the price sored up) The distance away from the centre i though wasn't a problem- there is a shuttle taxi (14 euros return) who are very friendly, there are bus services near by and walking is only 30mins. 2. very nice breakfast and i would say good value for money as you would spend the same eating in the centre for less food. 3. Good facilities. 4. Very very good hotel not a bad word to say! I would like to thank the hotel for a lovely stay.

“You must visit Bruges”

We arrived at 10am after docking in Zeebrugge. The reception staff were so polite and gave us our room there and then. Nice stroll into the town Centre (45mins). Really enjoyed this trip!!

“Exceptional service and great value”

The staff at this hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful (one member of staff contacted a friend of his to bring us some jump leads when our car would not start!). The hotel is clean and well maintained with an excellent restaurant. There are no tea and coffee facilities in the room which was a bit inconvenient for us with a baby and bottles to make etc but the bar staff were very happy to provide flasks of hot water. The travel cot that was provided for our baby was in excellent condition and high standard. This hotel was much cheaper than those in the centre of Bruges, and was just a 30 minute walk from the ton centre, or 7 Euro's in a cab. I would definately recommend this hotel, and would stay here again

“Very comfortable - a little way out of the centre”

We had a great stay at this hotel. Despite the local authorities digging up key roads and confusing our satnav, we found it a convenient location - walkable into the centre, but the hotel had an arrangement for a discounted taxi service (€7 to the city centre). Breakfast was €14.50 if booked the night before - pretty standard hotel buffet, but given how expensive Bruges is, probably as good as it gets. Very nice and peaceful, helpful staff, good price for the room - would definitely recommend (unlike some other places I've booked with Expedia).

“The most comfortable bed in Bruge, a bit of a walk though!”

Firstly I have to say, I used to travel a lot with my old job, so am used to hotels, beds etc. I know what I want from a hotel. I booked this hotel, because for the standard (4*) it was reasonably priced. I read reviews that the hotel was out of town, and decided on balance to give it a go. Boy am I glad I did. The hotel is far enough out of town, to be able to switch off after drinking etc! The walk to the central square is realistically about 30 minutes, but there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants on the way. The hotel is modern and clean, the staff are efficient and friendly, they greeted me with a smile, and honestly answered my questions (I asked about parking, and decided to find alternative parking as the neighbourhood was safe, and I didn't fancy paying). The neighbourhood of the hotel seems pretty safe. It is near a busy road, which helps. The neighbourhood seems to be a residential one, bordering on a business park. The hotel view I had was onto a field with sheep. It was rather peaceful. Being in a hotel outside the centre makes it easier to explore the real Bruge. The bathroom was not as clean as some, but I think this is worn tiling. The shower was very strong, and conistent. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in in a hotel! Amazing!

“Very god hotel”

I stayed in this hotel for two night in October 08 and was very impressed with both the room and the hotel staff. If you are thinking of a short break in Brugge this hotel offers all you could need. There is plenty of parking space and the hotel can arrange for a taxi to take you into the centre of the town - advisable as parking in Brugge is limited. Although breakfast was not included an extremely comprehensive buffet was available in the mornings and an excellent dinner menu for the evenings. The rooms are very well appointed with television, mini-bar and air conditioning. The standard of cleanliness could not be faulted. All in all a very good hotel.

“Arthotel, hotel with a very friendly cat”

The Arthotel is situated just outside the centre of Brugge,down a quiet road, just slightly too far to walk. We took motorcycles and it was ideal as you can motorcycle or pushbike right into the centre. The hotel is a typical modern European hotel, with English speaking staff and plenty of parking. The breakfast buffet was a tad on the expensive side, but had a good choice, and certainly beats hunting around town for an early coffee. Overall I would certainly recomend it, and would not hesitate to re-visit.
