We stayed at the hotel for a half-term break and really enjoyed it. Two adults and 2 children 11&7 yrs. We booked a junior suite and parking and had a smooth check in and stay. Very central and could easily walk to top attractions and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful booking both our evening meals at top restaurants and we we not left disappointed. Although a bit pricey the hotel was itself a historical attraction with a lovely bar and lounge area in the 18th century reception rooms of a stately home. The suite on the top floor had lovely views out over the nearby streets and was very well appointed. We recommend this hotel would love to go back again one day.
A great place to stay - totally different to the usual bland featureless hotels. Reminded me of a victorian era cruise ship cabin. Room / cabin was small but clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable. Quiet location so we got a great nights sleep. Only a few minutes walk to the city centre. Free parking right outside the front door.

Hotel location is perfect - close to the station whether you are arriving by bus or train & just across the road from the bars & shops of the town.

Very friendly & helpful staff - when we were leaving, we were overwhelmed & very grateful for the level of help we were given to book our return trip to Charleroi airport - we even saved 30 euros because the hotel manager booked on line for us!
We will return & would stay here again - we were recommended by friends & we have already recommended it to others.
The whole time was just so relaxed from the staff to the journey, Dukes Palace was a great Hotel to stay every instuction I e.mailed to the staff was adheard to plus more. Brugge is a lovely town a nice romantic setting my wife thourghly enjoyed people so friendly restaurants just great the whole time was an experience we will never forget thank you.
Superb experience in an elegant hotel located within a short walk of the center of Bruges. Very nice attentive staff that goes the extra steps for whatever your needs are. Beautiful old world elegance. The breakfast buffet was great and the waitress very pleasant and attentive. All the food was very fresh and a good assortment including local cheeses.
I was a little early to check into my room and they set me up in the lounge with coffee and tea service treats. The room was ready for me within 30 minutes.
There was no reception. A locked door for which a code should have been sent to us in advance, not received. Got soaking wet trying to gain entry. All communication had to be by phone. Beds were not made on arrival despite a fairly high charge for cleaning. No towels were provided, they had to be booked in advance, some were delivered after another phone call at an additional charge. No car parking as this had to be booked in advance, although no mention of this when booking, had to park about a mile away. This was not what we expected and did put a damper on our holiday.
