“Not Impressed”

Wireless Internet does not work. Hotel staff had no idea about their internet company info (phone number ...). At one point, when I insisted, they gave me the internet company phone number to call, but it turned out to be the Time Warner (TV Cable company).

“Needs some improvement”

I needed a room in my home town for some out -of-town guests that I couldn't accomodate in my home. I was able to get a very good rate, and the location was just right. The room was clean, the staff friendly. We did discover that the microwave in the room (an unexpected bonus) did not work, and we were never able to get it replaced. The door did not close very securely unless it was locked with the deadbolt. The mattress was reported to be a little too firm for my guests' liking. However, regardless of being full, the room was very quiet and otherwise very large and comfortable with a full size couch and a handy work table.

Area recommendations
Brownsville has an excellent zoo (Gladys Porter Zoo) and a good shopping mall (Sunrise Mall).
