“Below average”
The room was very clean but smelled musty. The climate control unit was very noisy. The bathroom light was very bright, so it was an annoyance to anyone trying to sleep. The complimentary breakfast was OK. The staff was very nice and helpful. The musty smell and climate control system made our stay below average. If these things were fixed, it would be a great place to stay.
“Poor Experience - Hotel Needs a Total Rehab”
2-story motel had no elevator. Top step of outdoor stairway was much larger than other steps, almost causing falls. Free continental breakfast had limited options. Antique thick plastic door keys required management assistance to operate. 2nd-floor night entrance lock did not work. No local TV channels were available on cable. Wi-fi speeds extremely slow. Overall a poor experience, and we will never stay there again. Harlingen Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn Suites are much better, but were full on this weekend.
“Comfy but dingy carpet”
Comfy bed, fluffy pillows, tub clean and deep enough to relax in. Lame shower head but good water pressure. Had to walk around with shoes on b/c the carpet was yucky though. Waffles for breakfast and friendly staff. When checking out we told them about the carpet so hopefully they clean them for the next guests.

NO INTERNET SERVICE. THEIR WI-FI WAS DOWN FOR THE FIVE DAYS WE STAYED. THEIR SO CALLED CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST WAS VERY SIMPLE.

“Needs Work ..No Nonsmoking rooms down stairs .it was bad!”
It was a Very Bad Room .. evrything smelled like Smoke ! Carpet was black and matted , bathroom fixture were all rusted , Due to injury i requsted down stairs , there were no down stair non smoking all up stairs! had to buy Lysol to disinfect the room for a while . keep door open most of the time ! It was Bad !

Check-in was perfect, everything was according to plan. I'd suggest requesting a microwave and refrigerator ahead of time. Be aware that this is a Motel rather than a Hotel. Super easy access to freeways. There's an HEB right across the street, as well as plenty of places to eat in the immediate vicinity. Very nice location.
