It was a really great place to stay. The only thing that was going on was they were upgrading and doing a lot of construction, but they were very quiet about it so it really didn’t get in the way.

Such a beautiful hotel. We stayed only one night but we really enjoyed our stay. Rooms are modern, new and spacious. Beautifully done bathroom and little kitchenette, sofa, two tvs, comfortable beds, amazing!
Breakfast was delicious and there were lot of options to choose from.

It was much better this time around than my previous one. The front desk lady put me on the 3rd floor such that the remodeling noise from the first floor was pretty much a nonissue.

Some issues but I'd like to start positive. I travel to Harlingen multiple times a month for work. I only recently decided to start using my Expedia account for reservations and almost always I will check-in after midnight as i never know if work will be keeping over. Some places I've stayed refuse an hour late check out even when i finally check in at 5am, they want me out at 11am.
This was my first stay at Best Western Casa Villa Suites and automatically I was told i can have a late checkout. I've been wanting to stay here and finally was able to, maybe next time I'll be able to have breakfast.
It was around 4am or 5am check in was quick as the gentleman understood i only have a few hours before going back to work, i just needed a shower and a little rest.
ROOM 111. Not the attendants fault but the key card didn't work. Another key card was made and no luck, I've worked card reader locks and it just no power, a routine scheduled maintenance issue. Confirmed when a master card was used. Was issued another room. ROOM 114 was opened. Great room, larger room than most places. Straight to the shower. Tub faucet great pressure temp was quick and good. Diverter control didn't work to flow water overhead. No time to waste quick rinse sitting in tub then a snack and 3 hours sleep. Minor issues will not stop me from coming back, i hope to spend more time relaxing at Best Western Casa Villa Suites.

Our room was great, we stayed in one of the oversized rooms since we had 2 teenaged kids, however they were remodeling and there was no getting rest in the middle of the day. Also my daughter had 3 bites on her the morning we left. The sevice was very good as we arrived just before midnight and the lady at the front desk checked us right in and got us into our room quickly.

I went to check in and the lady, Angie, was extremely rude from the beginning. She ran my card and said it was declined and then attempted to run both of my sisters cards and said they were declined as well. We all had PLENTY of money in our accounts and kept telling her it had to be her system and to call someone, a manager or something. She kept saying there was no one she could call and then finally called who she said was the boss, Andrew, and he did absolutely nothing and said nothing was wrong and didn’t even attempt to solve the issue. I just said to cancel our reservation, walked out the door and walked next door to Candlewood suites and booked a room for two nights. My card went through first time. I’ll never attempt to stay at the Best Western again!!

There could have been a glitch on our system during the attempt of doing the charges, or an issue with the credit cards provided.at check in. Sometimes banks have preset daily spending limit. Our property did not have any issues throughout that day with any other charges. We apologize if this may have caused you an inconvenience.
Prop smells& feels like a 1star motel. Very disappointed from a yr ago. Booked a king room ended in a queen,roaches,short towel supply,ran out Kleenex,shower drip,furniture &carpet had holes & stains,sofa extremely lumpy,looking for front office help,no pen¬epad in room,musty room smell.

It was nice to be in the valley. I didn't realize a good part of the second floor of the hotel was being updated. I started hearing banging sounds. The front desk clerk said it was ending in half hour which it did, however, that night around midnight it was back and it went all night. Unless you're a heavy sleeper, you better bring some 33 decibel ranked ear plugs to drown out the noise. Also, my room showed considerable wear, the lights switches are in odd locations and had no tv guide literature. On the upside, the tv channel options were great!
