You can't find a better deal; the room prices are incredible and the rooms are really comfortable. I enjoyed the overhead shower, and I really like this hotel (ironically) but it's almost shocking to enjoy this hotel because the location is horrible. It's about a 4 minute walk to the R/N train about 15 minute train ride to Barclay's and about 30 Minute train ride to Manhattan (not bad when you think about it). It's going to be hard to find any good food or entertainment near the Hotel BPM though so you need to modify your expectations. Also, the staff aren't there to help you...I mean they are "sort of" helpful, but don't expect much for the price you are paying. Here's what you can expect - a very comfortable room that's moderately clean, a great shower, good value priced hotel, and close to the subway.
I enjoyed my stay very much. For parents whose kids going to Pratt, this hotel is the best choice . It is a walking distance to school and the neighborhood is pretty safe. Not only that, it's spacey. We stayed in a room with a kitchen and a rolled-up bed with the price lower than that offered by Holiday Inn Express.

We were visiting our daughter in Brooklyn and chose the Hotel Luxe because of the reasonable price and close proximity to her apartment. While the street it was located on was lined with empty buildings and was initially a bit disconcerting, we were comfortable walking the neighborhood during the day and early evening hours. The room was somewhat small but ample and it was clean and updated. The bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was simple consisting of bagels, donuts, hot and cold cereal, juice, milk, coffee and apples each day but provided us with a bit of fuel to begin our days. We would stay again, as it suited our purpose.
In Brooklyn to visit our Williamsburg-based daughter and this was the perfect spot. Close to the subway, close to her, close to McCarren Park for morning walks. First time staying here but we'll do it again.
