We had a few days in Yorkshire spending the last two night sat the Fleece in Howaorth From walking through the door we felt very welcome.Staff were very sociable, ambience of pub fantastic with open fires and comfy sofas, food was delicious, in fact the best sunday pub lunch I have had(and I have had a few!!) Our first morning after a very comfortable sleep, we were the only ones in for breakfast and could not have wished for more. Even to a bowl of fruit on the breakfast table. A few days earlier we had stayed at a more expensive hotel and the breakfast was a fiasco. Well done The Fleece. We would certainly stay again as it was very central .
"Park top house, great location landlady and value."
Very welcome arrival by our hostess to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The place is spotless and comfortable.A good selection for breakfast at a time that suits you. Will stay again if we are in the area.Well worth 5 stars
Haworth Old Hall is a very comfortable hotel located at the bottom of Main Street, about 10 minutes walk from the Bronte Parsonage Museum. We were given a warm welcome by the hotel manager into a spacious, very comfortable room. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was excellent. Fluffy white towelling bathrobes a nice bonus:)
I cannot fault this hotel experience. From start to finish the staff were efficient and friendly, and the room surpassed my expectations given the price. The swimming pool was an added bonus, it was spotlessly clean and the water wasn't cold! The food served in the Dog and Gun was really good, not pub food, good dining.
Michelle and mark were very friendly and attentive. The Manor is in a quiet side street with easy access,by car, to several major west Yorkshire towns/cities. No problems with parking. Facilities and appointments are of the highest standard.
Spent 4 nights at Dalesgate and enjoyed my stay the staff were pleasant and the rooms comfortable. My room was on the main road which during the day was noisy but didn't notice it at night. The hotel is a little way from town there is a bus stop close by and it is within walking distance of the station. Would not hesitate to stay there again..
