“nothing like feeling unsafe”

When I arrived to check in it was late in the evening. It was immediately uncomfortable due to the lingering people in the lobby. My room was what to expect of a super 8, but when I got in I realized my window was open. It was a very uneasy feeling to not only have a cracked opened window, with the curtain closed, but I was on the main level. When I went to try and shut and lock it (no screen btw) their were semi trucks parked outside my window. I was so scared. It felt as if it were a trap. I called front desk to change rooms and they said sorry no rooms left. The front desk said, "if you locked the window I don't understand what the problem is..."

“Pleasantly surprised for the price!”

We stayed here just to be close to our daughter's wedding site, and have a place to change in the morning. We were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the room and the overall appearance of the hotel. The amenities available are hard to find in some hotels at twice the price, such as a full-size ironing board, mini-fridge, free wireless (in the lobby, but our room was right off the lobby, so it was full strength), free HBO, etc. I would not hesitate to return for a similar stay - was perfect for our needs.

Traveller's tip
This hotel sits directly across the street from the Westgate Mall, which contains a couple of big-box stores as well as many typical small stores found in any mall near a large metro area. There is also abundant dining choices within walking distance.
