We stayed here for one night in September and had the most marvellous stay. This was the first time we had stayed in a B&B, and we would certainly stay again. Adrian and Zofia made us feel ever so welcome. The house itself boasts character, and was much more homely than the usual standard hotel we stay in. The room was spotlessly clean and our adjoining bathroom was very tidy. In this particular bathroom, there was a bath with shower but unfortunately, this had been broken by previous guests and is awaiting repair during the winter season. Even so, it was absolutely fine, and Zofia ensured we were aware and comfortable with this prior to our booking.
The breakfast the next morning was fantastic; fruit salads and cereals, tasty French coffee, and full English breakfasts (complete with eggs from the back garden, homemade bread and sausages from a local butcher). They took account of our dietary requirements and offered alternatives throughout.
The local area is great for walks and Adrian provided suggestions of things to do. You can walk into the Village Centre within a few minutes.
In conclusion, a fantastic and delightful B&B with real character and charm. A place we would certainly stay again and recommend to all.
Stayed two nights for a long weekend break. Very welcoming host, charming cottage with period features and excellent breakfast. Well situated in centre of Brockenhurst with all amenities within walking distance. Hope to stay again soon.

I booked this hotel knowing that it was currently through some renovations. What I didn't expect as a single person travelling was to be placed up on the top floor with three other vacant rooms all currently being renovated, mine being the only room not being worked on and which was very dated sort of thing you would expect in a bed and breakfast house. And guess what, it was right outside the out dated caged lift. everything outside the room had a nice layer of dust on it. But the room was clean, out fashioned, but clean. Nice touch was a piece of shortbread and muffin under a glass dome. When the workman had finished at the end of the day, the rooms were sorted and guests moved in. What I saw, these newly renovated rooms looked great. So don't go into room no 11 unless its been renovated, or unless you have a fettish on caged lifts! Food was lovely, gardens pretty, but there is absolutely nothing nearby to spend your money on. Wont be going back there that's for sure.
I stayed at Rhinefield about 15 years ago and returned in July 2014 with my partner hoping for a special break. I wasn't disappointed and neither was my partner.
Nothing much had changed and that was a very good thing! From the sweeping drive through the forest to tea beside the ornamental pool and a superb dinner in The Armada restaurant, everything met our expectations. We made no use of the spa becauseI forgot it was there. We'll save that for next time...
Superb staff,so helpful, polite, cheerful and welcoming. Excellent breakfast, great relaxing atmosphere, good food in restaurant, room possibly overpriced but can thoroughly recommend all round. More than happy to go back - and my wife and I are hard to please when it comes to hotels!!
