“A decent hotel”

A good location but the one-way system can make it tricky to get there! Easy walk to the old city and harbour area. Hotel is just fine, comfortable and decent breakfast.

“Satisfied.”

I needed a hotel in Bristol, & this one was near to where i needed to be. The hotel lobby area suffered from an unusal smell of damp each time i entered it, however this was the only downside to my stay - which was overall good. The room was adequate & clean. There were small toiletries, & the bathroom was clean. I liked the bottles of water in the room. I had room service for dinner as I was travelling alone & the meal was prompt & delicious. Breakfast was as standard in a large hotel, & was of good quality.

“Quite outside but room soundproofing let it down”

The location, facilities and general standard of the hotel were fine. The main drawback was the soundproofing inside the hotel, although this could have been because our room had a connecting door to the adjoining room. We could hear every sound next door, even though our neighbours were actually not than noisy. Of course, we imagined that they were also able to hear us, so we were trying hard to be as quiet as possible, even keeping our voice very low. Hence, the break was not as relaxing as it could have been.

“Hotel with no Air-con in 12st century!!”

I was given a room which has no air-conditioning and the weather was 20 deg outside. The lighting in the room was less than what i have in my bathroom at home! If you still want to book this hotel make sure you see your room and then check in, coz not all the staff are friendly there.
