“Better alternatives”

Booked for pool but pool is in a dingy dark room. Plenty of better alternatives nearer centre. Gym is tiny. Car park is £12 per day but is rammed full and hard to get in and out of. Breakfast is OK nothing special. Church bells 8.40am on Sunday not everyone's taste! Plus side, room nice and clean, staff helpful.

Area recommendations
St Nicholas market foods stall are amazing for a quirky cheap lunch. Cabbot circus shopping and cinema is great.

“brtter hotels in bristol”

Hotel was a little tired in places. buffet breakfast quite basic and a bit flavourless considering it was quite expensive. There are eating places locally offerring nicer food at better value. Bit stuck on a one way system with car park very hard to find. We had to park outside a block of flats next door which were "edgy" to say the least! whilst we went into reception as there is no driveway or car access to the front.bristol has no shortage of well known chain hotels we have previously stayed in the mariott which was more upmarket and in a better spot for the same money.

Bath. A most historical place. The baths were fantastic and really good value for money if we had time we would have gone to the fashion museum. Also went to clifton by car and drove over the clifton bridge. An experience. All in all a really easy place to get to.

“Really pleasant stay, free upgrade on arrival”

Really pleasant stay, excellent value, received 2 free drink vouchers to spend in the bar, was offered a upgrade for £15.00, we decided to decline as only a passing visit, and then the receptionist said the good news is that you have been upgraded anyway, good result. Arrived after 6.00 pm on Saturday therefore parked in the street and that was free of charge. Really enjoyed our stay, would definatly recommend.
