“Best Hotal in Bristol”
Stay at the hotel due to my daughters University Graduation at Bristol Cathedral which is 500 yards from the Hotel. And the Hotel has a large Car park underground.
“Great location”
Staff at reception were very friendly and polite. We were upgraded to an executive room for a fee and room was very nice and clean. The only unfortunate thing was the people staying in next room, they were very noisy and I asked reception to change the room if the guests in the next room weren't checking out after first night. Receptionist apologised and informed us that they were checking out, so we had a great night sleep on the second night. Breakfast was good, cooked breakfast was available as well as a selection of pastries, fresh fruits and continental breakfast.
“Marriot Royal Bristol.”
For me the Marriot is perfect for every stay in Bristol. When there are offers on it is very good value for money. The location is perfect for seeign Bristol City, and having evenings out without the need for a taxi. The rooms are well appointed and the hotel has character and class.
“Habourside”
The staff were lovely - it could have felt a little cold & business like but all staff we interacted with made it feel personal. The location is great if harbour-side features on your itinerary
“Marriott Royal Bristol”
Looks grand on outside, doesn't deliver on inside. Somehow all a bit tired, uninspired and with slow service (lobby and bar) which surprised me having stayed at 'high end' Marriotts before. We stayed on 4th floor which was very quiet but there was very little water pressure from basin taps. Shower was okay. Bed comfortable. Location is as central as you can get - perfect for Harborfest.
“Classic Marriott service”
Checked in at 1pm, needed laundry done, same day service only before 9am but I needed it that evening so the hotel made the necessary arrangements to oblige. Excellent room and the restaurant food and service also very good. Together with a terrific location this is a great choice for staying in Bristol.
“Must be the best hotel in Bristol”
My wife and I enjoyed a three day stay over the Easter period. The hotel was really very nice indeed the staff could not be more helpful, the room was spacious and very well appointed, breakfast was also very good indeed. We did not bother with the pool or gym as we went to enjoy ourselves not win a gold medal. I would, without a moments hesitation recommend this hotel to anyone and already have done. It's located in a great spot close to the river and restaurants and only a reasonable walk from the main shopping areas and other tourist attractions. Only fair to point out the car park (which is attached to and part of the hotel) charges at the rate of £12.50 per day - some will see this as a negative. Book up I am sure you wont' be disappointed.
“Great hotel with fabulous staff”
The hotel and rooms are great as well as the breakfast buffet. Skip the fine dining as it is not above mediocre.
“Bristols' most welcoming hotel.”
As two well travelled and professional ladies, we expect friendly and competent staff, excellent facilities and top class cleanliness and comfort in hotel rooms. We have stayed in many cities : Dubai, New York, San Francisco, London, Bath etc., and I must say that our experience with The Royal Marriott was one of the best. Keep the standards and keep the friendly staff!
“Marriott Bristol Royal weekend”
Excellent and friendly service with helpful staff , enjoyed upgrade offer -spoils you for the future . The car park web information could have been clearer but soon figured out . A very enjoyable weekend with plenty to visit in Bristol
