Had a great experience, everything went smoothly. Really enjoyed the fact that they turned down the bed and left some water beside the bed which I really liked. The breakfast was divine and the freshly squeezed juice was fantastic. Slept really well which is unusual for me in a hotel and overall had a lovely time, would definitely return again. p s thanks for the water bottles you put in the car when we left!! :)

Hotel had nice food and the staff were friendly. The hotel was clean and the view from the balcony over the Botanical gardens and River was fantastic. Great position to walk to tourist attractions. We really enjoyed our long weekend exploring Brisbane.
A nice well appointed hotel of 4.5 stars. Although we did not use the restaurant it looked very nice and prices were competitive.Check in was a little slow with a problem customer in front. We had a problem with the air conditioning which was fixed within 2 hours after we advised management.
Hotel parking was expensive considering the carpark was not secured and anyone off the street could have walked into the area and damaged your vehicle. There is work in progress in this area and maybe this will eventually be fixed. An original vehicle exit on the other side of the hotel is currently closed and all exit is via the entrance gate.
We arrived early and a room was available for us. So that was a good start. I had read some reviews about this hotel and most of them were negative. We had booked a flight/hotel package and were very happy with the price. When we arrived we were very pleased with the look of the hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. Some of the negative comments made were that the windows were dirty. Not in our room. We did not have the greatest view. We looked down on the air conditioning units and across to a brick wall. However, we were not concerned as it is hard in any hotel in the cbd to get a view as it is the city and there are buildings next to each other so what else could you expect?
My daughter and I spent a weekend in the city to celebrate her 16th birthday. Upon arrival at the Mantra the staff greeted us warmly and informed us that we had discounted valet parking and breakfast included in our weekend stay. This was an added bonus as we had not realized this was included. Our room overlooked the city and we could open the windows which was lovely to have fresh air in a hotel room. The room itself was huge and the kingsize bed was super comfortable. We had booked to watch a show at Qpac which was a 5 minute walk down the road. We also had dinner at Southbank and were spoilt for choice as there were so many fantastic restaurants. Breakfast the next morning was delicous. The machine had run out of hot chocolate so the head waitress organised a beautiful fresh hot chocolate for my daughter made manually in the bar area. I was also given a cappucino and there was no extra charge. The portions in the buffet were not huge and that meant they were continually topped up and were hot and fresh. I enjoyed my stay so much I am planning on taking my husband there for a weekend away.
The owners of the B & B ( Sue and Louise) were extremely welcoming and obliging. We got a free upgrade on our room and were very happy with the surroundings. The breakfast was freshly prepared and more than we expected.
We would definitely stay again.
