Always pleasantly surprised with Ovolo properties. I arrived early but reception called me as soon as my room was ready. The room and amenities were great. Clean. Comfortable. Modern. Great location, helpful team. Would stay again!

We stayed at this hotel for one week while on business travel. Really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were nice and clean. The location is great - surrounded by restaurants and cafes. Easy to walk anywhere. The water and candy station was a nice touch.

Loved my stay at Ovolo. Convenient location with great rooms. Not many sun lounges at the rooftop pool so often unable to get one was the only downside to an otherwise wonderful stay.

An excellent option in Brisbane
We were very happy to have chosen Ovolo The Ballet for a couple of nights in Brisbane. First impressions were excellent after being given the warmest of welcomes by Kirk which was very much appreciated after a rubbish journey from the airport thanks to works on the airtrain line. Our large king room was fresh, clean, spacious and well maintained. The free mini bar, bag of treats and sweet station are all lovely touches but do not outshine the fact they have the basics nailed. For the sake of complete objectivity we did find trying to connect to the WiFi a little slow on a couple of occasions, and there were areas of tiling around the rooftop pool which needed some maintainance attention and therefore seemed at odds with high standards across the rest of the hotel. However these did not deter us from wishing we'd stopped in Brizzie - and at Ovolo The Valley - a bit longer.

Make sure you read "at the glance" part
We stayed there 3 years ago and we really liked it but it was very disappointing this time the room had no character and the air con was very very noisy. You have to pay $60 for parking which is not mentioned when you make the booking it says parking available not Valet parking which is a bit misleading. I did call beforehand to reserve parking and was told "no problem we have plenty of parking". I will never stay there again.

We have most certainly slipped in our communication and I am terribly sorry for this. I have taken a look into your comments around the parking and am sorry if it was not stipulated correctly to you. We do offer the valet for 60 per car/per night, however we always try to inform our guests of self parking options within close proximity of the hotel which was evidently missed on this occasion and I again am sorry for this miscommunication. Rosalie, I have taken the liberty of refunding you for the valet parking as a gesture of apology for our shortfall. Please note that this will be back in your account within 3-5 business days. As for the AC, this is something that we have noticed become a little more common during the warmer weather given the over usage of the units. We did miss this before your arrival during our checks, and I am sorry that this affected you. I will most definitely have the maintenance team investigate your comments about the loud AC and rectify any issues they find.If you require to chat any further about your experience with us, please don't hesitate to reach out. Relaxing stay
Stayed a couple of nights, our first time at Ovolo in Fortitude Valley. Given an upgraded room that was clean and spacious and on the first floor. Despite busy road, room was very quiet and blockout curtains very effective ensuring a good nights rest. Staff were most helpful and promptly dealt with any minor issues/requests. Breakfast and coffee in the groundfloor restaurant was very good. Free mini bar and snacks in the foyer a bonus. Good choice of eating places nearby.

Great Hotel
I stayed for a few nights at Ovolo. The hotel is fantastic and the room I stayed in was fantastically styled and modern. The staff couldn’t do enough for you either. The gym area could be a little more equipped but it is only small. The free mini bar more than makes up for this though. All in all, I had a great stay and would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Great looking hotel but…
From check in to check out the staff were amazing. Rooms are great too look at and very clean. This was for a business trip with 2 separate rooms and we were upgraded to the spa rooms for both of us which was a very welcome gesture. The only negative and this was from both rooms is that the beds where the most uncomfortable beds (and pillows) that I have experienced in 1000+ nights of hotels in my life, from 3 star to 5 star. They were so hard that both I and the other party (who is a tiny Asian woman) both basically got no sleep either night there and both had sore heads and shoulders from not being able to get comfortable. Not sure what the deal is or maybe they just need to put mattress toppers on that are more comfortable (I have stayed at this hotel before without issue) but they just ruined the stay for us. The staff and rest of the trip could not be faulted though.
