“A bit like the Italian Butlins but without the red coats”

Friendly and helpful staff at reception. The bungalows themselves were basic. The bathroom would have been clean if there had not been a bird trying to nest in the bidet. The bed was old and uncomfortable and there were bunk beds set up in the room which took a lot of space. Never got up in time for breakfast as it finished at 10am. Had a lunch which was very nice and the food seemed fresh. Tried to get served at the 24 hour bar one night and waited for about 15 mins with no joy. Slight issue with them not providing enough toilet roll on the final morning and had to trek over to reception first thing in the morning. A good base for exploring Ostuni and the cost of food / drink at the hotel was reasonable although better deals are available in town.

“Hotel Citta Blanca am Stadtrand von Ostuni, Apulien”

Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits der sehr schönen Stadt Ostuni in eine wunderschönen, parkähnlichen, palmendurchsetzten Grünanlage. Das Haupthaus scheint renoviert worden zu sein. Hier werden aktuell an der West-Seite im Haupthaus knapp 20 neue Zimmer gebaut. Das von uns bewohnte Zimmer befindet sich im Garten der Anlage, in einer Reihe von ca. jeweils 10 Zimmern, die wie Mini-Bungalows wirken. Diese Zimmer sind bescheiden eingerichtet, es gibt kein "echtes" Fenster, nur die Eingangstür. Es roch "muffig" und es gab Feuchtigkeitsschäden an der Wand, bis bis dahin nicht ausgebessert waren. Zwischen dem Hauptgebäude und den uns bekannten Zimmern liegen klare Unterschiede in Sachen Qualität.

“in campagna ma centrale rispetto a diverse mete turistiche”

la direzione ha cercato di supplire al possibile disturbo del cantiere per l'ampliamento della struttura con una camera lontana dal rumore. Giardino molto bello e ben tenuto, camere piccolissime ma curate, servizio cortese ed efficiente, ambiente simpatico, prima colazione buona e ben servita

Area recommendations
Ostuni e Cisternino, bellissime, sono poco distanti. L'hotel dista da Ostuni centro circa 4Km. ma non é lontano da numerose incantevoli destinazioni, come la riserva naturale di Torre Guaceto, il Castello di Carovigno e la Valle d'Itria.
When to go
A Capodanno molti locali sono aperti e l'atmosfera è incantevole, in estate la zona è molto affollata, ma la costa offre parecchie sistemazioni. Il buon clima rende il territorio agibile tutto l'anno, perchè quando non è tempo di mare o molto raramente piove ci sono comunque molte cose da vedere.
Dining
A Cisternino si può mangiare nei "fornetti", tipici locali costituiti da macelleria (dove scegliere i pezzi che si desiderano far cucinare) con annesso ristorante. Semplici e poco costosi offrono piatti a base di carne di altissima qualità. La cucina tipica è buona e sana, include molti legumi e verdure, sulla costa il pesce è buono e decisamente meno caro che al nord.

“HOTEL CITTA' BIANCA - PIACEVOLE MOMENTO DI RELAX”

Ho trascorso una piacevolissima vacanza in questo albergo e spero di poter ripetere questa esperienza. Il posto è davvero affascinante...il prato, la piscina, la posizione fuori dal paese, le camere immerse nel verde...insomma, veri momenti di relax!! Il personale, poi, è stato gentilissimo, sempre pronto a sodisfare le nostre richieste con la massima professionalità e disponbilità. La cucina è ottima e molto varia. Le camere sono arredate in modo semplice, ma con ogni comfort. Inoltre, è il posto ideale per chi, come noi, vuole visitare i centri vicini ad Ostuni e la sera vuole rientrare e rilassarsi. Spero davvero di ritornarci!!!
