"Funky b&b close to the seafront"
We stayed at Fab Guest for 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The room had lovely funky décor as did the whole building. The room was cleanly daily to a high standard. It was nice not having to carry a key around as there was a door code entry system. The staff were friendly when they were on site and when they weren't, it was easy to contact them on their mobile which we had to when our door code stopped working but this was resolved straightaway. The room was quite small so it would've been nice to have more storage space but we did stay in the smaller double room for a discounted rate so can't complain really. The location was good by the seafront and was about ten minutes walk to the centre although there's a lot going on in Kemptown too. I would recommend Fab Guest and would stay here again.

"Great place to stay"
The staff were really helpful and responsive and breakfast was well-presented with right-sized portion and a good variety of both cold and hot food; I would recommend the Eggs Benedict topped with beautifully crisp bacon. We appreciated the parking and the little extras which included ear plugs in the bedside table drawer, a good range of Freeview TV channels (most hotels are hopeless) and an excellent selection of teas, coffees and hot chocolate (also not in most hotels). The whole experience was most pleasant and we would be very happy to repeat the experience. The only slight negative was the thumping noise from a nearby nightclub but the earplugs helped.

"An oasis of calm"
Brighton was packed with vacationers and people noisily partying by the sea. But turning into Brightonwave on a side street, there was calm and peace. My room was on the lower level, with a private terrace, and was amazing. The bed was huge, there was a mini-fridge and a lovely bathroom, and I was able to sit outside in the privacy of my own little terrace. Richard thoughtfully provided chocolates, tea kettle, tea and coffee, and bottled water in the room. I only ate breakfast one morning but it was a well-prepared vegetarian repast. There is fresh fruit in the lounge at all times, and it felt as though I were a welcomed guest in someone's home. A colleague stayed at a hotel on the seafront and was awakened many times by revelers. I had only the seagulls to listen to and was grateful. I loved everything about this place and would stay here again if I return to Brighton.

"Clean, chic hotel"
Nice tasteful room (quite small) and a decent shower. Breakfast was good with friendly service. They also have a DVD library which was a fun surprise. No sea views, but if you don't mind that it's a nice hotel near restaurants and shops.

"Exceptional Service and Comfort at Kemp Townhouse"
I had a one night stay at Kemp Townhouse and enjoyed every aspect from the very kind service to the comfort of my room. I found the location to be perfect for a walk along the boardwalk or a walk into the city centre. The service and breakfast in the morning was exceptional. Very polite staff. The room was very comfortable with all the bells and whistles. I will return and stay longer next time.
