"Brilliant straff and location!"
Brilliant room and Adri was fantastic! The only drawback was the noisy room as it was on the street. The room was well equipped and very comfy but a bit noisy.

"Great location, fantastic staff, room lovely."
A warm welcome when we arrived, the staff couldn't have done more for us. The room was lovely, as seen on the photo, clean and bright. Breakfast selection was amazing. Good location, just off the sea front. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay there again.

The Grand Brighton

"Very nice with olde worldly charm "
Had a very nice stay at the Grand. Shame it was only for 1 night. We booked a deluxe sea view room and it was lovely. Complete with balcony. Very spacious and decor appeared relatively new. You could hear traffic from the promenade at night but it didn't dampen our stay. Good choice at breakfast. All the staff were really professional and friendly from Concierge who met us at our car with an umbrella in the rain to receptionist who phoned a nearby restaurant to book us an evening meal. Hopefully we'll be back to stay longer and enjoy afternoon tea which looked great! !!

"Excellent position, right on the front. "
Checked in early as had a wedding at 3pm so was able to change. The room we had was compact as a double with ensuite which was very compact. Maid service was good as the room was clean and the bed made every day of our stay. Lashings of hot water and the shower was good with soap and shower gel and shower cap and nice white towels. Our room was at the back of the hotel above the kitchen so we woke in the mornings to the smell of breakfast cooking as the weather was warm so their ceiling vent was always open. My only complaint was the television provided had poor channel reception and only received Analogue signal which I thought was strange as most signals are Digital and the set stated it had feeview which should provide a greater choice than we had. The picture set up could not be altered as the remote control did not match the television.

"Nice hotel close to the beach"
Very comfortable, a better experience than a more expensive 5 star hotel I recently stayed in. The room for a family of five was excellent and the parking facilities was within a stone's throw. They stored my bicycle in secure storage and the concierge gave us pointers on where to stroll and find local attractions

Hilton Brighton Metropole

Kings Road, Brighton - Map

"Pretty building, nice staff, shame about the room"
The hotel is very ornate and attractive, with marble work and luxurious carpeting. The staff were friendly and helpful. The utilities include a decent sized pool and jacuzzi, which were very enjoyable. Unfortunately the room was very standard: the shower had no curtain or guard, so the bathroom got soaked every use. There was no mini-fridge, so the hotel missed out on a tidy little alternative to room service (and I missed out on being able to chill some snacks from a nearby shop). There is also no free WiFi. For £90 a night, it seems odd to provide a pool but no Internet access! The restaurant and bar is also ridiculously overpriced (£5 for a pint). There are much swankier and cheaper eateries within a 5 minute walk, so again this feels self-defeating.
