"A lucky find!"
Lots to recommend about this little hotel. Very welcoming staff and hotel cat. Comfortable room with nice view of the square and the sea. Excellent buffet breakfast. Lots of nice touches - complimentary cake in the lobby, great range of teas in the room and fruit provided. I liked the ecologically minded ethos and attention to detail. Great location, too. I took the owners' advice and booked Regency Secure parking for the weekend. (You don't really need a car once you're there because the town centre is a few minutes walk and the seafront is only yards away.)I'd be very happy to stay there again.

"Beautiful place"
My partner and i had such a lovely stay at this hotel. The owners/staff were so friendly and made you feel like you were staying with family rather than at a hotel. The place is beautifully decorated and the room we had was very tasteful. We were on the top floor which was a fair climb and I believe the only access is by stair case so I would recommend you ask for a floor lower down if you're not good with climbing stairs... However the staff were awesome and offered to carry our bags all the way up for us. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was great with really nice shampoo and body wash. Everything you needed was available in the room including a hot water bottle which won me over. They have a breakfast room and they cook to order for you using local ingredients which were delicious. Wifi is available and worked well. Car parking costs 10 pounds and it is on the street wherever you can find a spot (they give you a map with directions to the best parking spots ) This accommodation has been one of our favourite places to stay while on holidays in the UK

"The Full Brighton Experience!"
A marvellously quirky and individual hotel in a great location in sight (at a very slight angle) of the Seafront. Extremely helpful and pleasant staff. Rooms clean and comfortable, decor flamboyant!! I was originally booked into a single room, there was a slight glitch with the booking and I was smoothly upgraded to a double (Yay!). I was given the "Kinky" room on Floor 4 - pink / purple furnishings, a red stilletto telephone and a bed which converts into a....well, book it and see for yourself ;) If that sounds a little dodgy, other customers were couples and families who seemed as happy and relaxed with it as myself. Only slight problem was that the floorboards in my room (on the fourth floor in a 200 year old Georgian terraced house ) bowed in the middle. Until I figured it out I thought the weird apparent motion of the room was me being drunk or having a dizzy spell. Eventually I figured out what the deal with the floor was and it all added to the charm and character of the place. If you want a hotel that forms a part of your whole Brighton experience, you won't do much better. I'l certainly be back.

"lovely hotel"
We had a great room overlooking the marina. Very pleased with the location as its not in the centre of everything and only a short drive(5 mins) to the town. Beautiful views, plenty of restaurants to choose from and cafes to watch the world go by. This is and up and coming location with everything on its doorstep. We were pleased we chose this hotel as it has free parking, level 6 recommended for easy access to the hotel. Fabulous boardwalk. The hotel was immaculately clean, breakfast was plentiful with very dedicated staff who try to meet your every need. We stayed 2 nights but wished we could have stayed longer. We would definately recommend this hotel to all as it has everything you need within very easy reach.

"Great service on the beach"
The hotel was very up to date, well equipped and clean, but the biggest positive was the staff, from checkin to checkout, so friendly and accomodating. We stayed with our 4 month old son and they couldnt have done enough to make it easy. Having stayed in a number of hotels in Brighton, the staff here stood out as examplary

"Great Budget Hotel"
Having read some of the negative reviews i was apprehensive about my visit. I needn't have worried - everything about the hotel was good. The room was great; bright, clean and airy & the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was good - best hotel cooked egg!! I had vegetarian breakfast so don't know about bacon or sausage! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the position of hotel is great. Ok, some of the carpet is a bit worn and the bar area could be better, but it wasn't needed as there is so much around and it is a budget hotel. I would certainly stay there again and highly recommend it.
