We were very pleased with this hotel, which we chose on the basis that it was dog-friendly and close to relatives in Hove. The only slightly negative comment (which didn't matter to us) is that the furnishings in the corridors are a little old-fashioned and worn, but everything was spotless and well looked-after. Even the many pot plants gleamed. Our room and en-suite were generously sized, well equipped and comfortable, everything worked, the breakfast similarly generous and well-cooked, and the staff could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. We have already recommended it to others and would certainly go back again on another visit.

A long weekend away to a place that has been a surprise. Hove what a wonderful place to stay if you like to eat out. The range of restaurents between this B&B and Brighton is amazing. A fine dining weekend. Our room was compact but very nicely presented. Breakfast was cooked fresh and to order.

Second visit. The hotel has on site parking which is convenient and is the main reason I choose it. The rooms are pleasant but on this occasion I had to report that I had to bathe in the dark as the window is diagonally overlooked by flats and there was no privacy curtain, just a net. The next morning the maintenance man placed butcher paper over the window for privacy. The problem was attended to, it is true, but a nice gesture from the hotel manager would have been to apologise and maybe not take payment for my morning newspaper! Yes I will book again because of the parking and I will check the room thoroughtly before retiring. The hotel has a lot going for it with rare on site parking and i hope the management guard against being complacent with their attractive draw card and keep an eye on maintaining their other hotel services and civilities to guests.
Very dissapointing experience ,checked in was in a reception /bag store room ,given the wrong code for our room , very basic accomodation, no sheet under the duvet, no milk with the tea and coffee ,tv did not work (although that could have been the handset), no hand towel , ill fitting curtains held up by a doweling pole
all the above would have been more acceptable had we paid 40-50 pounds for the night instead of the 155 we did pay!

A very pleasant hotel, particularly the young man who met me on arrival. I was impressed that when the receptionist saw my age (80), she transferred me to a room that could be reached by a lift without me asking. I would happily use this hotel again.
I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights on business. Staff were very warm and friendly and knew about the area. The room was comfortable and very quiet. There was a restaurant for breakfast and also a bar.
Hotel was very good. Staff great. Location great. Just 10 min wander into brighton. Bed was very uncomfortable and kids had to share a single sofa bed which we weren't expecting but other than that it was excellent.
