"not quite as close to station as name suggests!"
Stayed just one night here on way through Tokyo. Its not so much a hotel as a collection of smallish rooms on a few floors of an office block itself a few blocks away from station. For one night it was fine but longer you might get a bit claustrophobic. Room very clean and adequate. Staff helpful. If you join the Marriott club card you get 50% off breakfast in the cafe downstairs - which is in fact an excellent spread!

"Nice hotel, great location. Close to Tokyo station"
I stayed here for 1 night in two occasions as a stop over. The rooms are small but it is all you need. Very close to Tokyo station making it a great location to move around the city. Staff were friendly and took care of us. Would stay here again.

"Cozy hotel close to metro and JR stations"
We stayed 3 nights in this hotel during our stay in Tokyo. We booked 2 months in advance the Double Room with no view from window, the cheapest type among the double rooms, as we only ask for a clean, tidy and convenient hotel to sleep after crazy shopping in Tokyo. Yet, this hotel offers more than what we ask for --- it's new; all rooms are equipped with Sealy mattress; female customers are offered a ladies' set with cleansing foam, cleaning oil, toner, lotion and a hair band; male customers are free to take hair gel and cleansing foam at the lobby --- you're just staying in this hotel without worries! I do love this hotel brand since last time I went to Tokyo and stayed in Shimbashi-Hibiyaguchi of the same brand. Comparing the two, this hotel is cheaper than the Shimbashi one, but it maybe a bit less convenient than Shimbashi --- as Shimbashi is a big station with JR and metro line. Kyobashi is quiet at night; you cannot find a restaurant to eat in at late night, while Shimbashi is still bustling at late night.

"Worth the price"
The staff are remarkably awkward, I mean, even considering the language barrier. I can speak a little bit of Japanese, but every word that came out of my mouth was as if I was from an alien planet to these people. It was so strange, especially since Tokyo is the most English-ish place I've been in Japan (I'm a university student in Osaka). Getting past the uncomfortable feel that the staff give you, the place is okay. The beds are really comfortable (though the top bunk is a huge physical task to get up into), and the facilities you need are there. The showers are... not the most appetizing, as a warning; the floors are pretty spongey, which is gross if you think about it too much. But you're there to sleep, not to have luxurious showers. All in all, if I need to spend a night in Tokyo for cheap, I'll probably be going here again.

"Great hotel!"
Great hotel with a top notch staff they made our stay a complete delight and made our first visit to Tokyo go so smoothly. Couldn't have had more kind, helpful gracious employees. Would be the first place I'd stay if I went back. Large sleek comfortable rooms and great food were also part of our experience.

"Tiny room, big American. Great location."
Unless you can afford luxury hotels I imagine it is tough to find a decent sized room in Japan. In this price range I found a tiny room that my 6' 2" 250# frame had a tough time in with an even tinier bathroom. I arrived in morning and was disappointed that their 3 pm checkin was strictly enforced (they did end up letting me in at 2) and even more that the checkout was at 10 am and I got a phone call at 10:30 chasing me out of room. But I probably would stay again as everything was clean and staff was as nice as possible (although as with all Tokyo they spoke little English). They did secure my camera bag behind desk and had area to safely leave luggage. Best thing is location location location. It is an easy 5-10 minute walk from Tokyo Station so I landed at Narita took the very nice Narita Express one hour train ride to the Station and with a map I had printed from internet easily made it to hotel, which had plenty of Western services nearby - 7Eleven, Starbucks, McDonalds, etc., and an "Irish Pub" just down street from hotel. City is easy to navigate with maps posted all over and train/subway stations with English names, which make finding where you are on adjacent maps very easy. I've never walked so much in my life and loved the city. Be prepared for little English - spoken or on signs though ...
