“Excellent service. Impressed. Expensive WiFi. Good gym facilities.”

Not even 5 mins (3 bus stops) from the train station on #93 bus. Hotel is 20m from bus stop. Very handy location. Gymnasium facilities were far better than expected with lovely view to castle whilst doing a work out. Short walk into town where bars and restaurants were everywhere (and cheap beer!). Reception staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. If hotel had free WiFi would have been perfect.

“The best hotel of it's category”

I've stayed in 4-stars hotel, but this exceeded my expecations, friendly reception, nice lobby, clean rooms, Wellness (sauna and gym), executive room.. Good location, near the city centre, historial places, and at ~1,7km from the Train Station. An extra points for the reception desk, allways with a smile and ready for you. Congratulations.

Area recommendations

Bratislava is a small city, all within a walkable distance. Usually, you don´t need to use public transportation unless you go to the airport.

“Top Choice”

Located just below Bratislava Castle and opposite St Martins Cathedral with a bus stop directly outside it is easily reached from the airport and ideally situated to explore the City. As a four star hotel it is expensive for food and drink particularly the breakfast buffet which was not well attended. Breakfast is available elsewhere at more reasonable prices. We did not use any of the facilaities as time was at a premium but it's all there for those who have a longer stay. One other thing, the room coffee making facility was disappointing. Whilst quite modern, tea is pretty much a non-starter and only strong coffee was available.

Area recommendations

An eveni ng meal in the Castle restaurant is recommended for both the view and the experience

Must see

Take a day trip to Vienna on the train. The journey only takes 1 hour and is very reasonably priced. There is a lot to see so try the City Tour bus to make the most of your visit.

“What a lovely hotel!”

A great hotel in a great location (right on the edge of the old town) and at a very reasonable price. Staff very friendly and helpful, very clean and tastfully decorated rooms ..... and nigh on perfect as far as I could tell! Would I recommend this hotel? What do you think?

“Definately recommend”

Arrived at Bratislava rail station and got a bus door to door. Very convenient location and excellent standard. Only stayed 1 night as returning home next day after travelling from Vienna & Budapest so didn't have any food at hotel.

Bratislava is very pretty but small and can probably be done in a day.

“Amazing Customer Service”

Everything about this hotel was perfect. They turned on their spa facility just for my use. Free breakfast in the morning had great food. Staff all spoke great English and helped me with everything I needed.

“Dieses Hotel liegt sehr günstig zur Altstadt und Burg in Bratislava.”

Das Hotel Falkensteiner liegt sehr günstig zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten in Bratislava. Es ist auf jeden Fall in Preis + Leistung sehr weiterzuempfehlen. Das Frühstück ist im Verhältnis zu anderen Hotels in Bratislava besonders gut.

“We Love Falkensteiner Brtislava”

L'hotel Falkensteiner in cui abbiamo soggiornato per 3 notti io e la mia ragazza è semplicemente fantastico!!! Si trova a 20 min di autobus il 93 dalla stazione,la fermata è precisamente davanti all'hotel.distanza dal centro 5 min a piedi. Personale gentilissimo, albergo nuovissimo (gennaio 2009), con sauna,bagno turco e sala fitness gratuita. colazione abbandante e buonissima. camere rifinitissime e pulitissime con ogni comfort, lcd 32 pollici e macchinetta nexpresso con cialde. Indimenticabile!
