I cant say enough - I didn't find a single weakness. The rooms were clean and modern, yet cozy and rustic. The restaruant food was top notch, very fine dining at a reasonable price. Location was close to most of Old Town, easily within walking distance. A great value as well - I have never stayed in a nicer hotel. I wish I could say something negative to make this review more believable... so, maybe... there is no elevator? But only two additional stories. What a great stay!

The value received was outstanding. Falkensteiner is a business hotel, but we stayed on a weekend and had all the benefits, plus the total attention of the staff.
We walked to old town and when we left, only a 9 Euro ride to the main rail station. Excellent location for us.
We arrived to the Antares later than expected due to public transport problems, it was nearly midnight and we were very tired and hungry. Within 5 minutes of entering the hotel all that was forgotten thanks to the wonderful receptionist who checked us in very efficiently and offered to order us food online to be delivered to the hotel as at this hour there was nothing available in or around the hotel.
After eating and lounging in the jet bath we relaxed in our beautiful, large and very clean room before having a well needed sleep in the huge bed.
The hotel is very close to the city centre and catered for by public transport as well as having ample parking space. The building and decor are of high quality and it's size is perfect; not so big that noise or crowds are a problem.
We didn't use the restaurant but took coffee outside in the very pleasant seating area as the weather was beautiful. At every point in our stay the staff were fantastic. The reception and rooms are full of information and have free wifi.
I would definitely recommend a stay at the Antares to a friend and if ever in Bratislava again would personally not hesitate to book again.
My only little niggle was that the complimentary shower gel had run out and this was the only item I hadn't packed and there was a dead light bulb in one of the fittings.

Hotel was second choice, after Boatel was damaged. This is no reflection on quality of service or accomodations at the Ibis. Clean comfortable rooms, good quality Continental Breakfast and friendly welcoming Staff. Well sited for wadering the city. Would quite happily use this hotel again in the future.
