“Fabulous Place!”

Beautiful, clean, comfortable, we will definitely be back.

Area recommendations

We stayed just off of Hwy 165 which was nice because it is not a horribly busy area, but it is close to Hwy 76 and all of the shows and restaurants.

Shopping

The Branson Landing is a wonderful place to shop.

“Place of choice”

“We WILL be back!”

We stayed at the Lodges for 3 nights and our stay could NOT have been more comfortable! Best room I've ever stayed in. And my 6 year old daughter loved the Splashatorium. I was worried after I read the reviews about the hotel part of this resort being run down, but after checking in I don't think that's entirely accurate, although I did not see inside of the hotel rooms. I have only ONE complaint about my stay at the Lodges and that is that when we arrived at exactly 4:00 (the indicated check in time) our room was not ready for us. We waited an entire HOUR before house cleaning had our room ready and even after the hour wait when we walked into our room the cleaning ladies were still inside. 4:00 pm does seem a little late of a check in time anyway, and to wait an hour for them to clean was unacceptable in my book. We were not compensated in any way for our wait.

“Loved It”

Our suite was incredible. Very clean. Everything we could possibly want or need. The "splashatorium" was wonderful. My 11yr old and I enjoyed it very much. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend it to all. Very close to shows and restaurants. Very close to Silver Dollar City. Very convenient location. Clean and quiet.

“Will go back”

Overall set up and quality is top notch, don't be afraid to spend the extra money for this hotel. One of the best lodges for the money and I stayed in the small size room which is quite big. Great small water park for kids. Will stay again just remember they are trying to give the "90 minute tour" when you get the parking pass.

Area recommendations

This hotel is off the strip and close to the yellow route making it decent to get around.

Family-friendly activities

Check out the free water park, kids activities like bingo and snow cones throughout. Service poolside for food makes it great for all.

“Beautiful Scenery, But Lodge Could Have Been Better”

The Lodge was hard to find. Even when we stopped at two other hotels for directions, they never even heard of it. When we did arrive and settle in for the night, we couldn't sleep because the people in the next condo were talking most of the night. The walls were paper thin. Also, the child upstairs was running around every night and we couldn't sleep. Stay on the second floor, if possible. For the price we paid, we shouldn't have to hear so much noise. It was clean and the bed was comfortable, though.

Area recommendations

All of Branson was nice. There was something to do for everyone. Downtown Branson was like stepping back in time. People are very friendly.

Must see

Silver Dollar City is a must-see. Workers are so friendly and food was good! Kids will enjoy the many rides and attractions there. We enjoyed the Stunt Dog Show. Also, Walmart had live singing shows in the adjoining mall area. The acts were good.

Shopping

The Factory Merchants Mall had a nice Crocs store. Also, the Tanger Outlet Mall was nice. Downtown Branson had the 5 and 10 Store with many different kinds of souvenirs and items.

Events and shows

Go see the show Amazing Pets Show. The emcee/magician was funny!! Very cute!

“Beautiful seclusion so close to Branson”

So nice! The Lodges area is definitely worth the extra money. Beautiful rooms, great staff. Absolutely wonderful stay. I will recommend this to everyone! Splashatorium had plenty of room, too. Teenagers, children, and adults. There was room for everyone.

“A really splendid place to relax”

One pleasant surprise after another. The Lodges are superb. So well appointed and comfort in every room. I stayed in the one bedroom King. Every detail from the multiple head shower to the fireplace at the jacuzzi tub to the gorgeous kitchen made for a wonderful weekend. Wonderful Adirondack rockers on the porch and all of the amenities you could wish for. Brunch at the Welk Resort hotel was well priced and scrumptious. Dine in or dine out. A wonderful secret in Branson.

Must see

The Titanic Museum is extraordinary. Very sobering and respectful. The demonstrations of water temperature, the simulation of sitting in a lifeboat and the three angled decks displaying the experience of the passengers are beyond compare

Dining

Steak and ribs are speciality in many places. Find the big cedar restaurant that advertises it's tossed rolls.

“branson spring break”

We stayed in the one bedroom with kitchenette. Rooms were very nicely done. Husband and I thought the king size bed was great. My 15 year old daughter and her friend complained about sleeping on the pull out couch. The pool/water park was very nice and the girls enjoyed spending time there.
