“Great place for kids”

I was very pleased with my stay at Castle Rock. The indoor water park was a give hit with my 4 yr old, very clean and the lifeguards wete very vigilant. He also loved the bunk beds and having his own TV. I highly recommend this hotel for families. I do wish the breakfast was complimentary but that is the only concern I had.

“Waterpark was terrific. If you have kids, you have to go!!!!”

The hotel service was terrific. The waterpark was great for the kids. We had two families that went and we all had a great stay. I've never seen so many lifeguards that kept a constant vigil and we very aware of what was going on. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

“Was Not Impressed!!!”

We were booked into a Atrium room and did not realize that these rooms were 2 buildings away. Rooms were small, pillows flat, sheets wouldn't stay on the bed and not near enough towels for bathing. The water park was not clean and the lazy river's water looked nasty. We did not get in because the water was tan in color. The small one of our group did enjoy the outside kiddie area. Cost way too much for what we got. Will not use them again, very disappointed!

“never again”

The cheapskate owners have the staff turn the air conditioners off in the room even knowing they have guest coming. The room was over 100 degrees and the a/c was not capable of cooling the room. When we asked to be moved they brought us a fan. In addition to that there was no ice available in the ice machines. Completely overpriced for the money. Never again.

“Great for Kids!”

We took our grandkids, ages 2,4, and 7. They were really excited about the bunk beds and having their own "room" with a TV. The staff was friendly and asked us frequently if we were enjoying our stay or if there was anything they could do for us. The water park was great for the kids, and we'll definitely be back!

“rundown”

it was obvious that this hotel boasts their water park since that area and the main entrance are the only things that I saw that were well kept. Our room was clean but VERY outdated and rundown. Our room had a hole in the bathroom floor between the tile and the trim. There was no cover for the heat/air vent on the unit so anyone could have been burned it they had touched this. Overall while we did enjoy the water park I didn't enjoy my stay. Next time we will just buy the day passes and save ourselves the stress of an unkept room.

“Great Waterpark/OK Hotel”

The indoor waterpark was the big draw for us since we have a kid. Most of the park was geared towards younger children but the slides and lazy river were great for our teenage son. We stayed in the older part of the hotel...it is CLEARLY older. It definately needed an update...showerhead was missing...older model TV and decor but clean. I have seen photos of the newer part of the hotel (which is btw attached to the waterpark-the older part is not) and the rooms seem much much nicer. The location was right off the main strip and easy to find and the staff was very friendly and inormative.

Area recommendations

Be sure not to miss all of the great shopping at the outlet malls and Branson Landing. Also be sure to visit Lambert's restaurant in Ozark, MO (only about 30 min from Branson) has some of the best home cooked food, huge portions, great prices, delicious food-but try and get there early cause there is ALWAYS a wait.
