Okay hotel

Pros: Our son like the pool & water slide.
Cons: All of the above.
Location: Not much to do nearby.
Air conditioner was too cold & couldn't be adj. no movies to rent or watch. No free breakfast.

Eat, but don't stay

Pros: The staff was very nice and the food was fantastic!
Cons: Repair things in a timely manner.
Location: Nothing near by, the restraunt across the parking lot had gone out of business.
We had a 5 night stay, trouble started the second we walked into the room. We had supposedly reserved a 2 Queen Bed Sofa Bed room, however the room was a very tiny two Queen Bed room. The hotel and Brandon were completely booked, so we had no choice but to stay (except our son couldn't join us the second day as we had planned). The front desk claimed they don't give the Suites to Expedia for booking, however I checked with Expedia twice to confirm the room type - between the the Hotel and Expedia, there was misinformation. I booked more than 5 months in advance of our stay. I chose the hotel because it was the only remaining Suite in town and it was a sister hotel to the recommended Victoria Inn. Expedia guests do not receive breakfast tickets. No coffee until 7AM! The room had laminate wood floors which were cold; possibly because it was a pool side room. As a result it was extremely loud until the pool closed. The pictures do not show the room type we had in the older part of the building. The pictures are probably from the new part of the hotel. Repairs: Hot tub never worked during our stay; AC would not stop, so maintenance shoved a piece of cardboard in the vent so it would stop blowing - but it was never repaired; The ceiling in the bathroom was dripping from the shower above...

Pros: The lounge is nice
Cons: Making sure things are working and making you aware of these things at check in
Location: Houstons bar right beside.
Air conditioning not working. They don't let you know that when you check in. Room kinda run down.

Room updates are starting very shortly for our property. Had a few issues with the air conditioning which is now fixed and we are working on uogrades right now.

Not impressed

While waiting to book in my husband overheard one of the counter personnel telling another guest how to override the no alcohol near the pool rule. Hallway carpets were dirty everywhere we went. Room was not properly cleaned; found a beer cap on the coffee tray. Room was facing the pool, so no sleep for us until the pool was closed at 10:30. Very disappointing.

One night stop over

Reservation and price were as stated. Good value for the money. Stood in line for the Sunday morning breakfast/Buffett and waited over 30 minutes to be seated in the hotel Restaurant. Turned in my room cards at the front desk and went elsewhere for breakfast.

Sucks

A/c was not working, called front desk about it and they sent a fan to our room. There are security gaurds everywhere around front desk but in the hall ways there was people screaming and fighting and not once did anyone come around.

hotel was nice and has pool facility. but my room had window for the pool so very annoying until 11 pm omg. bed and room was clean but air conditioner was so weak.

Happy to hear you enjoyed the pool facility. Air flow has been increased to the rooms. The humidity of the pool can also drive up temperatures to Poolside Rooms. We always recommend the patio doors to stay closed. Thanks Again.

Overall very nice. Food was excellent at. Echo restaurant. They do need to work on the cleanliness of dishware
