“good”

The hotel was good. We had very noisy people in the hall until 11:00pm despite several calls to the front desk nothing was done to quiet them, other than that 9:00am is a little early to end the continental breakfast, good hotel, ok service.

“Very pleasant stay”

We were in Brandon three nights, with a pet. It was very convenient to have a first floor room, but the air conditioning unit didn't work properly. The desk clerk was very helpful ( in the middle of the night) in getting it reset, but it continued to shut down during the night. The next day, we asked for assistance again with the air conditioner, and a different clerk very cordially moved us to another room, which worked out great -- we were cool! We were in and out of the room several times during the day and caused housekeeping a lot of inconvenience, but they were always pleasant and helpful with our every need. We enjoyed our stay in Brandon -- thank you to all LaQuinta staff members!

“Good problem-solvers”

We had booked two non-smoking rooms through Expedia, and when we arrived found that they had us in one smoking and one non-smoking room. We showed the info we received from Expedia, and the desk clerk told us that sometimes the requests do not get through on the way they show up on the form we had. Nonetheless, they QUICKLY resolved our issue, giving us an upgraded non-smoking room with a jacuzzi, at the same price. They did all of this with a smile. We found them to be courteous, professional, and eager to make our stay enjoyable - which it, indeed, was!

“Excellent hotel for the money”

We didn't utilize any amenities, my family simply spent the night there one night during a road trip, so I can't rate them. However, the condition/quality of the room rated a higher star than it has in Expedia. The following night we'd stayed at another chain for about $15 less that was no where near as nice. My only quibble was the continental breakfast. It was pretty typical, the only hot item was a waffle maker. Just as we arrived the last muffins were taken. Even though there were employees present the whole time keeping the place clean, they never restocked the muffins.

“Comfortable stay, would stay again.”

The beds were soft and the bedding was dreamy. Service at the continental breakfast was wonderful and very filling, even had a hand made waffle. Hotel was quiet when we arrived late from airport, which was close by, at 11:30 pm. Room was clean and halls were quite!

“Served us well”

Not a bad hotel. Room was spacious, clean, and the shower was good. Minus one on the cleanliness because my dog found a big yogurt raison on the floor. Raisons are not good for dogs and my dog has a sensitive stomach. Could have been a nightmare on the road.
