“Yes it was true! Complimentary early evening hot food!”
A great idea! Complimentary hot and cold food snacks early evening. Seeing was believing. Free popcorn and soda too. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Spacious and clean rooms. Indoor swimming pool and spa tub which opened up onto a small outside terrace.
“excellent stay”
I was in my car 5 and one half hours. Just 2 exits from the hotel I had a flat tire on a big truck. I was just devasted and aaa did solve the problem but it took time. When I called the hotel to tell them I would be late they said no problem. Then I asked about the managers buffet and was told it was over. Truly I was in a pickle. Alone, big city and no food. They brought me food about 5 mins of when I checked in. Thoughtful, kind and new how upset I was. Thanks to 2nd shift.
“A bit dissappointed”
I had been told that this Drury Inn one of the top hotels in Bowling Green. At the rate I paid per night, I expected this to be true. The staff at the front desk was friendly but not very professional. The room was clean but the sheets were very low quality and did not fit properly. The worst part of the stay was getting woke up at 7:00am by housekeeping knocking at the door. This was after a night of not getting much sleep due to the sounds of some sort of air conditioner or equipment kicking on and off every 15-20 seconds from an adjacent room. My room was next to the atrium (main lobby) and the noise was substantial early in the morning. The free hot breakfast and free manager's buffet offering were fine but the heavy crowds right at 5:30pm did not allow for people to have a place to sit and eat. The line for the buffet snaked down the hallway and several people turned away even though this was supposed to be one of the main reasons for staying at the Drury Inn. The next time I'm in Bowling Green, I'll go ahead and stay at a less expensive hotel and get my money's worth.
“Unimpressed”
Room had a very stale odor. We stayed only 1 night while on the road, so it served the purpose. Evening snacks and breakfast were a bonus.
“Excellent short stay hotel - hot breakfast, hot afternoon snack”
This is a very nice hotel. Well appointed. Rooms are small average to average (two double beds, recliner). The rooms are clean however just starting to look dated (if i had to guess the hotel is 10-14 yrs old). The pool is indoor (nice in the fall and winter - not so nice during the summer). they have a SMALL excercise room (I think one bike, one treadmill). They do provide a TRUE FREE hot breakfast (biscuits, gravy, sausage, eggs, make your own waffles) as well as cereals, muffins, bagels, fruit, etc. In the afternoon they also provide free hot snacks - (chicken strips, etc along with sodas and purchase - alcoholic drinks. Overall a great place to stay for 2-3 days with kids or a week by yourself. It is located on THE main strip for Bowling Green so it provides access to everywhere in town pretty quickly. Also if you're just passing thru it is located right off the interstate. Lots of restaruants and a huge shopping mall are within 1.5 miles. Enjoy!
“Corvette plant”
Traveling with 2 teenagers to take tour of Corvette plant and museum on way to family reunion elsewhere. Requested two rooms nearby and rooms were satisfactorily directly across hall and on first floor. Although there were several girls sports teams on the property (refreshment room was . . well, boisterous), our rooms were quiet and peaceful with the door closed. Comfortable bedding. Crack of dawn wakeup call was on time, free breakfast was eaten by finicky teens, coffee was good. Pleasant staff. Oh, yeah and great free popcorn. Only tricky part was locating how to get to the hotel. You can see it from interstate but entrance to property is not on the main road and driveay is shared. We have always found Drury hotels consistently very good for the price.
“Bowling greens best”
The hotel was everything i thought it would be and more.
“Great visit!”
We really enjoyed our stay!
“Excellent choice”
One of the most pleasant motel experiences. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Free breakfast was excellent and snacks at night, including popcorn, were a nice surprise. Can't imagine a better experience for the price in Bowling Green, KY.
“Very impressed”
Staff was extremely helpful. Food was good. Pool was small but very nice.
