On arrival our friends and ourselves were upgraded to a room with a balcony. The room was nicely decorated buy not overly large. The ensuite was a shower room with plenty of room and everything was spotlessly clean. There was bottled water on the bedside table and tea/coffee facilities in the cupboard under the desk. The one downside in the room was if you were staying more than a couple of days there were not enough drawers to put your clothes in. The staff were friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety on offer. The cooked food was delicious and piping hot and was served by the waiter from the buffet. We had our evening meal in Blakes restuarant, surfice to say if the Head Chef is not on don't bother. Would we stay at this hotel again? Definitely.

Have stayed many times here, but the place has been painted, new kettle in room, new hairdryer in room - better performance from it, was only overnight this time, but up to its usual excellent standard. The only down side was a wakeup call at the wrong time, the clocks went back and I got a call at the old time of 7.30 which was actually 6.30 oops

Oldest Hotel in Boscombe, great location, near beach, lovely grounds and walks.
Loved the heated outside pool, and the outside hot tub, fantastic!!!!
Its a shame its closing for 5/6 months, hopefully its for a refurb, it needs a bit of an update, but was a great place to stay , would have loved to have stayed longer.

Eight girls stayed here for my hen weekend and we were very impressed with the hotel. Staff were very helpful and rooms were very spacious and comfortable. We did not have the breakfast that was offered, so I cannot comment. But overall we had a great weekend in Bournemouth and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Myself and my husband stayed 2 nights at the Hermitage - we couldn't fault anything - the rooms were spotless and the bed very comnfortable. The breakfast you could have a choice of either full English or a continental breakfast. We did eat in the evenings in the bar and had 2 lovely evening meals (the only reason we didn't eat in the restaurant was because we didn't want 3 courses). The staff were very friendly and helpful. We even got to take home 'Hermie' the complimentary Hermitage Hotel duck. Thank you for a lovely stay - we highly recommend your hotel and would certainly stay again.

We stayed four nights at the Queens Hotel & Spa in Bournemouth and found it clean, comfortable and great value for money. All the staff were helpful and cheerful and the breakfasts delicious with plenty to choose from. Parking space can be a bit hard to find, but we didn't have a car so this wasn't an issue for us. The only downside was the noisy pipes and creaking floors at night but I guess this is expected in an older building. I would definately book with them again!
