On arrival our friends and ourselves were upgraded to a room with a balcony. The room was nicely decorated buy not overly large. The ensuite was a shower room with plenty of room and everything was spotlessly clean. There was bottled water on the bedside table and tea/coffee facilities in the cupboard under the desk. The one downside in the room was if you were staying more than a couple of days there were not enough drawers to put your clothes in. The staff were friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety on offer. The cooked food was delicious and piping hot and was served by the waiter from the buffet. We had our evening meal in Blakes restuarant, surfice to say if the Head Chef is not on don't bother. Would we stay at this hotel again? Definitely.

We stayed four nights at the Queens Hotel & Spa in Bournemouth and found it clean, comfortable and great value for money. All the staff were helpful and cheerful and the breakfasts delicious with plenty to choose from. Parking space can be a bit hard to find, but we didn't have a car so this wasn't an issue for us. The only downside was the noisy pipes and creaking floors at night but I guess this is expected in an older building. I would definately book with them again!

"Convenient town center hotel with great sea views"
Staying in Bournemouth twice a year I' d always wondered about the Hermitage and took the plunge in December. Very pleasantly surprised. Room was very clean (I run Housekeeping for a cruise line) and the service thorough but not intrusive. Reception remembered my name from day one. Food and menu selection great. Very close to the sea and shopping, but far enough from late bars etc. so a very tranquil experience.

Perfect from beginning to end.
We had planned to eat out but it was raining so decided to use the hotels dining room, but as the dining room was full we braved the weather.Unfortunately could not find a suitable place to eat The staff on duty went out of there way to find us some food as it was after 22.00hours
Only thing we found wrong was that there was not a comfortable chair in the room to sit on other wise we will use this hotel again and again
No problem parking your car either
