“Bed and Breakfast”

The owner accidently had the dates confused so the room wasn't ready. he had it all set with in 30 minutes. I understand the Cape is not the place to be in the fall/winter but I felt he wasn't especially helpful with ideas of what to do. He gave us some books an wre read through them to get ideas. The bed was huge and comfortable. I wish there was other seatimg in the rom other then the one chair and bed. Food in the mornins was ok. cereal and scones. I had an enjoyable time. I was relaxed and left relaxed -which is was I wanted. It was close by to all the attractions.

Tom and Rita are wonderful host's , their Bed and Breakfast has such charm , rooms are very comfortable and the beds are super large . lots of New England charm and hospitality .Rita's scones at breakfast were so good I got her to give me the recipe's . would recommend to anyone who wants a little charm and less rat race in a holiday .

“A warm welcome made us imediately feel at home”

Rita and Tom apart from making us feel at home ,were very helpful.The house is lovely, in a good location right next to the Cape Cod Canal. Great walks. We spent a week on the Cape, three nights at Holly House. A good, quiet location for surrounding area and Martha`s Vinyard, A great place to stay.

“Lovely Hosts”

The Holly House is a lovely Victorian Home situated in a very quiet neighborhood. Our hosts were so pleasant and friendly. We really enjoyed sitting around the dining room table with them and other guests at the simple but enjoyable breakfast. Our room was very comfortable and clean, lots of books and periodicals, and we particularly enjoyed the adjoining veranda that looked over the property and tree tops.

“Not overly impressed”

The host was friendly and very helpful. However, the room was not very large and far too crowded with far too many pillows, gadgets and things of little use to the guests. The ladies need a place to put down their make-up articles and do their thing and should not be hampered by items that look good on pictures or when entering the room but become a hindrance when unpacking personal belongings. This comment applies to most B&Bs as all hosts try to make their rooms look pretty but forget about the needs of travelers who need space to put their suitcases and personal objects. A further comment that not only applies to all B&B but also to hotels is the denial that European guests do not necessarily like sweet pancakes, scrambled eggs and weak coffee.

“Definitely would go back”

This is a small B&B: very comfortable and a good breakfast. Tom and Rita made us feel at home. We felt as though we were staying with friends.

Owners Rita & Tom and the B&B itself quickly made us feel cozy and comfortable. Conversation at the breakfast table with the owners and other guests was delightful.

“Cozy Place with Amazing Caretakers”

A wonderful couple runs this sweet little b&b. They made me feel so welcome. I would recommend this b&b to any of my family and friends looking for a quiet, quaint, and comforting place to get away.
