Inexpensive stop over hotel on way to sth France

Posted 08-Aug-2014
Pros: relatively inexpensive.
Cons: Decor and evening meal facilities
Location: Nothing available locally. stop over stay only
Inexensive stop over hotel on trip to South france from Calais. The hotel is very dated in decor.circa 1960, just about acceptable for price. Warning the local restaurant is poor very dated and expensive for what you get! would have stopped prior to arriving at hotel if i had known.

A quiet stay...

The view from the balcony underscores the beautiful rural location. The room although small, was acceptable however some amenities such as coffee and tea makings would be welcome. Nearby restaurant is a plus.

A quirky hotel that was a hostel in the 1960's. Basic but very good value for money. OK for a one night but would probably not stay longer. The restaurant next door is a bit dull which is a shame as a fantastic location on a lake.

Lovely location

Scenic and tranquil surroundings. Within walking distance to town. Locked parking. A good place to stay overnight on the way to the Mediterranean.

gedateerd hotel
