“basic hotel”

The location is ok but we did a lot of walking to get around which was quite. a awu for the beach or port but then again we could jump on the bus or metro and b there in seconds- which we also did. The breakfast was brill lots of choice. The hoyel room was clean on the surface but carpet could use a deep clean. The bathroom was very clean. My pillow was very hard but my fault for not asking for another one. All in all its a good location to be able to explore more of Marseille as you have to go further and in a nice location.

Getting around
Bus 83 to the port and 19 to the beaches. The metro is 3 mins walk away.
Outdoors or beach
Go further along the prado beaches to get to the sandy ones and beautiful sea.

“HOTEL REVENDIQUANT 4 ETOILES,NE MERITANT QUE 2 ETOILES,TRES MOYEN,ACCUEIL GLACIAL”

arrivé a 11h30,très fatigué,le Mr a l'accueil ne m'a pas répondu lorsque je lui dis bonsoir ensuite il a fallu 30 mn pour avoir ma chambre sans aucune excuse de sa part.(probleme de carte)?? hotel mal climatisé malgré la canicule de MARSEILLE,robinet qui fuit dans la salle de bain,mauvaises odeurs dans la chambre,ménage mal réalisé,la gouvernante qui ne dit pas bonjour. le personnel de l'hotel n'en a que faire des problèmes rencontrés par les clients de l'hotel. les portes qui claquent comme des portes de prison empechent les clients de dormir,d'autres clients qui font la java empechent ceux qui veulent dormir a minuit; en bref hotel tres médiocre,ne méritant pas les 4 étoiles qui s'est attribué je ne sais comment,d'autres hotels 4 étoiles dans le quartier proposent de meilleures prestations bien moins chers que le MERCURE PRADO. je déconseille formellement!!

“Hôtel Mercure Prado Marseille : proche des transports en commun pour les lieux touristiques”

Dommage que l'entrée de l'hôtel ne soit pas à la hauteur du reste (chambre, salle petit déjeuner, accueil du personnel ) Entrée trop discrète, trop en retrait. Cela ne donne pas envie de pousser la porte. Une entrée plus grande, plus aérée et plus claire correspondrait plus au design de l'hôtel qui lui est assez contemporain. Le petit déjeuner est très bien, beaucoup choix. Le personnel de l'accueil est très gentil et très serviable. Adresse à recommander sans hésitation.

Area recommendations
La ville de CASSIS ainsi que La Ciotat en passant par la route des crêtes. De plus, La Ciotat pour se restaurer est moins cher, ne pas hésiter d'aller dans les petites rues autour du port.

en transport. La voiture est inutile (impossible de se garer)
Must see
Notre Dame de la Garde, le Château d'If, les Calanques, le vieux port.
Dining
Restaurants assez chers. Surtout le poisson, alors que nous sommes en bord de mer....
