“Would recommend”
Ideally located for a 5 day trip to Boston. The hotel connects to a shopping mall ideal for staying dry on a wet day. Rooms were of a fair size with large comfy bed. Room view was of a carpark, may have better views from a higher floor. The atlantic fish company is a nearby restaurant I would definetely recommend, though very busy even on a tuesday evening. Nearby metro station, but we found Boston easy to navigate by foot, about half an hours walk into downtown Boston, cutting through the public gardens and Boston common.
“Highly convenient”
The proximity of the Prudential complex - shops, restaurants, "Sky walk", and access to the T transport system - was a bonus. Internet access cost about 10 dollars a day, but was worth it (despite a break in access for a whole afternoon throughout the hotel).
“The Heart of Boston”
Great Hotel and Great location. Hotel very clean , room had fantastic view of the Charles River and Back Bay. Staff efficient , free internet in lobby, well stocked bar and Starbucks here also. Location fab, short walk to Boylston and Newbury streets where it all happens, good people watching, great range of shops and lovely relaxed feel. Plenty of good bars and restaurants close by , I 'd recommend the Cheesecake Factory ( unless you are watching your calories ) , Summer Shack ( opposite Hotel ) great seafood and sportsbar, The Cactus club, for good spicy food. I would certainly recommend the Sheraton, can't wait to go back, just for the views.
“Great and comfortable big hotel right in the middle of Boston”
Fab hotel well placed in the centre of Boston. Walking distances from most attractions were comfortable and the area was safe. Great city to visit and this hotel is a good central location from which to venture. Nice shops and cafes all nearby with lovely views over the city. Meals in the hotel were a bit pricey but elsewhere we found it value for money and sometimes actually cheap. Nice and helpful staff. Swimming Pool was lovely and a great size.
“Great for jet lagged kids”
We know the area and choose the Sheraton every summer as it is great for kids with the pool and even better for mummy being attached to the Prudential shopping. We also find that as we all are jet lagged and up very early, it is relaxing to be so near to places for breakfasts and for kids to run around without waking up the whole neighbourhood. The check-in is crowded and there is a wait but the staff were helpful and were happy to add an extra bed in the room for us. An added bonus is that the Hertz renta a car is located in the parking lot below which makes life much easier. We will continue to stay at the Sheraton for our annual visit to Boston.
“I want to go back asap.”
Boston is amazing! The Sheraton Hotel really made this break very special. It was the end of our 16 day break around New England and what a lovely way to finish a holiday. We certainly made a good choice. I have visited New York but I would choose Boston anytime and would definitely stay at the Sheraton whenever possible.
“Nice hotel for a short stay”
Nice hotel, very vast lobby and a nice atmosphere, with a Starbucks in the lobby. Rooms are huge, we had ours on 23 floor so stunning views. Quite a handy walkway to Prudential shops and Copley sq shops, especially in winter where there is no need to go outside in order to navigate the above mentioned stores. Very nice hotel and we got a good deal! Can recommend it.
“Spent fourteen very happy days staying in the hotel.”
Although a very large hotel it seemed relatively small and that individual guests matter. . All levels of staff were extremely friendly and anxious to ensure that all our needs were met. The large reception area was a hive of activity with so much going on with people of all nationalities moving around. Good place to have a coffee and people watch. The bedroom had all the necessary comforts and spectacular views over the city. The location of the hotel is good with very close bus and T-stops which make moving around the city and its environs very easy - especially with a Charlie card.
“Great location”
Hotel was very comfortable, and staff were helpful and attentive, as you would expect of a reputable 4 1/2 star hotel. The room was spacious and afforded a great view over the Christian Science church complex. Access to the metro and buses was excellent and it was in easy walking distance to great shops and restaurants.
“Nice hotel in good location.”
Rooms were clean and good size. The higher floors give a brilliant view of the city. The hotel provide undercover access to the shopping mall, T-station, prudential building and the other nearby hotels. Plenty of other bars and restaurants nearby.
