“Ideal for visiting Boston”

Newbury Guest House is ideally located with cafes, bars & restaurants nearby and with the Common, Public Gardens, shops and waterfront within walking distance. The hotel is most comfortable with nicely decorated rooms. Breakfast is fairly basic but perfectly adequate and all in all the hotel provides excellent value for money - probaly the best in Boston if you don't want all the frills of a big full-service city centre hotel.

There is nothing negative to say about this hotel- it was wonderful and most of all CLEAN. Bring comfortable shoes -you can walk everywhere from there. Parking is limited and there is a fee

It was better than i expected. It's little bit expensive for me but I really satisfied! The most thing that I liked was the location! Newbury Street is so beautiful !! I really wanna live in there....!! I had really good time in Boston :)

“Great stay at Newbury Guest House”

Stayed two nights at this wonderful place. The location on Newbury Street in Boston was excellent - some great dining and shopping options in the neighbourhood. Room was beautiful and well maintained, in-house breakfast was fine and staff helpful and friendly. Our only issue was with the wi-fi internet which was a bit flaky the first night of our stay (and not just for us) although to the staff credit they really did try to sort out the problems for us. Overall a really good experience

“Location, location, location.”

Located in the heart of Boston's Back Bay, this little gem offers charming accommodations and friendly service in a great neighborhood. Our room had a (nonworking) brick fireplace, very comfy beds, and lots of light. Full, self-serve breakfast (with tepid tea water) was adequate, though healthier cereal choices and yogurt would have been welcome. Parking is in a tiny lot in a public alley for a reasonable fee. The inn is walking distance to two MBTA stops and lots of shops, restaurants, and amenities. Room rates are comparable to or a bit better than others in Boston proper. I would stay there again.

For Hynes Conventionaires, this might be as close as the Sheraton (if you counted steps), but more affordable and with a comfy B&B type feel. Of course, being on Newbury Street adds great charm. Also comes with a very solid, complimentary breakfast. There is wireless in rooms, but phones are an old-style. I was able to park in their lot for reasonable charge, which is a real plus.

“Newbury Guest House fabulous location!”

Just spent two wonderful days at the Newbury Guest house. You could not beat the location. Newbury Street is full of fantastic shops and great restaurants of all types. The hotel is convenient to the T but also close enough to downtown to walk. Lots to see on the way. The room was quiet clean and updated. The down comforter was a luxury. The bed was a bit hard but this was the only inconvenience. A great continental breakfast was offered until 9:30 am and checkout was a generous 12:00 pm. Easy to get to from route 93. I will be back!
