“Absolutely great vacation!”
A fabulous stay in a very comfortable hotel. From the beginning to the end, the employees of the hotel was kindful with us. Great service from the valet. Maybe the restaurant is a bit expansive (near 100$ box for a simple breakfast) but it's downtown Boston, so we're to be prepared for that. Thank you
“Awesome hotel”
Great hotel, very friendly staff, great looking and comfortable. Convenient location, great price. The bartenders at the hotel bar were awesome too.
“Great hotel, great location for sox games”
If you're going to a Sox game this is a perfecet spot. Just far enough away for the crowds to thin out but still very walkable.
“Centrally located hotel in Boston”
This hotel is centrally located in Boston downtown, right next to Copley Place mall and across from Back Bay station (Orange line). It has fitness center and indoor pool/spa inside the hotel with state of art equiments.
“boston”
The first night was noisy due to loud boisterous guests getting off the elevator shouting well after midnight followed by the sound of crashing dishes 1-2 hours later (staff picking up room service dishes?). Don't get a room near the elevator! Otherwise the room was comfortable and relatively quiet. What happened to hotel-airport shuttles? There seems to be quite a racket between the downtown Boston hotels & $$$ taxi service as other transportation options (ie the train only 1 block away or private airport shuttles) were highly discouraged by the hotel.
“Over priced, under serviced, with a touch of arrogance.”
They could not find my reservation even though I had a confirmation number. I was treated like a second clase citizen because I had booked with expedia and not directly with the hotel. After 30 minutes standing at the front desk they gave me a room. Not on the concierge level that I paid extra for.
“One of Boston's Best”
What a delightful experience! We travel to Boston often and this is now our favorite. The room had a beautiful view of South Boston, the South End and the waterfront. The hotel has a great breakfast, a lively lounge and is attached to two great malls. If you are looking for a getaway weekend, don't be afraid to book here. You can have a Boston experience in midwinter without ever going outside!
“Number 1 hotel for me”
If you are going to Boston, then this is the hotel for you. Located in a mall, it is great when the weather is bad outside. You don't even notice. You can walk right over the road and into the Prudential Centre and more shops without ever going outside. It was easy to get around. We took the subway from the airport and all you do when you get off at back bay station is walk under ground - so yet again you don't even go outside. We got a one week subway/bus pass for $15 each at the subway station and that was easy to get around with in the middle of the winter. The hotel was nice, easy to get around with large rooms and a coffee machine to use in the morning. There's a grocery store across the street if you need that but otherwise the restaurants are great and if you like sports, then go no further than Champions. I thoroughly recommend this hotel and will go back again.
“We always have a great time at this hotel”
A few years ago we started a family tradition to go to the marriott Copley sQ on New years eve because this hotel never disappoints. We had a great time.
“boston copley square ideal”
