“Not your regular chain hotel experience”
Nice hotel in a great location for the more cosmopolitan side of Cambridge. I love the local bars and restaurants, and you can find any sort of food that takes your desire. The Hotel was renovated a few years back (used to be the Hotel@MIT) before Meridien took over, They did a nice job, with the decor and overall facilities, not sure why they have the 'Nature sounds' in the common areas but maybe some people like it. I would recommend this hotel for couples or business travellers, probably not ideal for family vacations.
“Good Hotel”
A good hotel very quiet and in extremely good condition. Local area is not very good with most places to eat very basic.
“Great Hotel in Cambridge”
great location and smart hotel, just a stone through away from the nightlife in central Square and equidistant between the Harvard and MIT campuses.
“Not a tourist location!”
This hotel wasn't in the best location for visiting Boston. It was in the Cambridge area, which isn't wonderful and was a train ride from anywhere worth visiting. Having said that, there was nothing to fault the actual hotel and would be great from a business point of view. The breakfast menu was very good and the staff friendly and very helpful all round. I would look at a map and book something more in town if going on holiday. The hotel I wanted was fully booked and didn't know why until we got to Boston - marathon weekend!
