“did the job”

Had a late night job in Boston, hotel staff was helpful, had directions to the venue, shuttle service if needed, and friendly. Breakfast was good, if I have business in Boston again, will go back .

“distant location but friendly staff”

This hotel is outside of Boston for sure but the shuttle, which runs frequently, takes you to nearby wood island (station for the T) and the airport so getting to downtown is a snap. They set up bagged lunches if you're going to be travelling and the breakfast was substantial. The staff was always accomidating and all I heard from other guests was how they had stayed at this hotel several times before and greatly enjoy it.

“Very impressed”

I am a road warrior and travel a lot. This hotel had everything I needed. Free Internet and breakfast. Ice machine and lots of outlets for my gadgets. Free shuttle to airport. I had to take early morning flight and since breakfast was not yet set up they had prepared a breakfast bag for the road. I ended up leaving a few things in my room and they shipped them to my home. Great value, would definitely stay again.

“Logan access”

We found our stay at Hampton Inn perfect for our needs. The location was ideal as we had an early flight out of boston the next morning. The staff was friendly and helpful.. Our shuttle got us to the airport on time and the staff prepared a sack breakfast for us upon our exit. One big plus for us was free parking. Would we stay again ? Yes...

“Boston Bargain and so close to Logan.”

I think Hampton Inn's are the best. I stayed at three different locations on a trip to visit family [Boston,NH and Chicopee Ma.] All were very clean,well run and had the best extras [shuttle and great breakfast]. You won't be disappointed!

“Very good for price”

This hotel is perfectly situated. 10 minutes from the airport and about 15 minutes from down town Boston, both by car. If you want to take the train into down town Boston, the hotel runs a shuttle to and from the train station. They also run a shuttle to and from the airport. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Made you feel welcome. Rooms were also very clean and comfortable. I would have loved a bit more variety at breakfast but apart from that it's a good hotel to stay in. There's not much going on around the hotel, however the hotel also runs a shuttle to nearby restaurants which I think is great. Would definitely stay there again.

“Good place to stay”

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Shuttles were great. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Would definitely stay here again.

Getting around

Do not hesitate to use the "T", the Boston subway. It is easy and convenient.

“Dreadful location opposite airport fuel storage tanks.”

Convenient for Logan airport with a reliable and quick shuttle taking only 10 minutes. But: location is very poor - views over the airport fuel storage tanks, next to the highway, surrounded by industrial sites - definitely only a hotel to sleep in (and not a cheap one either). Staff very friendly: lobby area welcoming and warm; nice touch giving a picnic breakfast to early morning travellers. But overall - would not go back here.

Area recommendations

Back Bay or North End Full of great restaurants and shops - Back Bay much more high end; North End near the water and full of Italian restaurants. Lots of character in both areas. The real Boston!
