Never again. I thought Marriott hotel stood for quality not so for the Fairfield hotel.

I read your review about our property and I very disappointed on that we did not meet your standards in a hotel. Our property will be upgraded this coming winter and by the next summer we will be improved and we invite you back after the work is complete .

Great stay, wonderful staff, noisy train nearby.
I really enjoyed the stay here. From the outside it doesn’t look too attractive, but inside is very nice, comfortable, clean, updated, and smelled good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pretty much what you’d expect from a Marriott property. Room was clean and everything seemed to be in new condition. The bed and linens were very comfortable. The only thing that I wasn’t expecting was the sound of the train passing by every 10 minutes or so. If you’re a light sleeper I would not recommend staying here. The train tracks are directly next to this hotel. It rumbles the room.

I was really happy with this hotel. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spotless! Also, the breakfast options were bountiful!

Nice quiet hotel
Staff was friendly, facility was very clean and quiet, and continental breakfast was amazing, just to see hotel that still serve hot food like eggs, sausage and oatmeal, not just cold cereal like the other places. The only issue I had was with parking, many of the other visitors felt the need to take up two parking spots, something should be done about that as well as the parking lines. Besides that, very nice place to stay, I would go here again.

The hotel advertised free local.shuttle, there was not a shuttle. We entered the room. And there was a noise machine and ear plugs. You'll need them, train that goes by constantly isoud.

When we first checked in we were concerned about the earplugs and white noise machine. A commuter train passed along the side of the hotel. We didn’t hear it once. We stayed on the highway facing side of the hotel. The star of the show was the breakfast. So many options! 10/10. Great place to stay for a Salem visit.

Our group enjoyed our stay! Nice rooms, had requested adjoining and they did not disappoint! Showers were nice as well! Also the free breakfast was the best any of us have experienced! Great stay!

The property is located next to a major road so expect some toad noise. One early morning the people in the next room were making some noise. Also the hot water in the shower only lasted a couple of minutes. The room was clean as well as the lobby.

The staff were great especially when we checked in. The gentleman at the front desk was great. I liked that we could walk to a restaurant for dinner after returning from Salem. Definitely would stay there again.

Road noise was very loud. Whenever large vehicles passed near the hotel, my whole room shaker. It was really hard to sleep because of it.
