“Would definately go back”

Apart from the smell of stale smoke the room was goo dvalue f r money and the staff very helpful, friendly and curteous. Many thanks

Area recommendations

There is lots to see and do. City compact enough to walk round pick options form guide book or toursit information who are very helpful. Tram/bus tickets E1.40 last for one hour but you can buy 5/10 slihghtly reduced price or a day ticket. If you enjoy a walk get the train which stops just outside St Emilion - a picturesque town/village surrounded by beautiful lime stone buildings. Do the monolithic tour organised by te touris information as wellas visiting a vinyard but book in advance if you can. If you have more time there are lots of other areas to visit

“Good location, terrible service”

The hotel is in a good location, close to the main part of the city and right by the Musee des Beaux Arts, however the check in time is from 8 to 12pm, then 2pm to 8pm. If you have a late check in the hotel is empty and you have to call an emergency number in order to access your paperwork for check in. The man at registration is also very rude and gave us a hard time when we asked for a map.

Traveller's tip

There is an excellent Irish pub that is around the corner and open until 2am. Good place to wind down.

“Ideales Hotel, günstig und Innenstadtnähe!”

Für diesen günstigen Preis waren wir wirklich angenehm überrascht. Das Zimmer war geräumig, gepflegt und sehr sauber. Mobiliar und Betten waren keineswegs veraltet. Die Kochgelegenheit der kleinen Miniküche mit Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle erwies sich als sehr praktisch. Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr zentral. Die historische Altstadt erreicht man zu Fuß in circa 10 Minuten. Noch schneller geht es mit der Tram. Nur durch einen kleinen Park, dann erreicht man schon die Tramstation und ein super Einkaufszentrum mit großem Supermarkt und vielen anderen Geschäften und Cafes. Das Hotelpersonal sprach auch Englisch und war immer hilfsbereit und freundlich. Eine wirklich gute Adresse!

Area recommendations

Die historische Altstadt von Bordeaux ist wirklich sehenswert. Der Atlantik und die traumhafte Cote d`Argent liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir genossen den Städteurlaub in Bordeaux und den anschließenden Badeurlaub in Mimizian!

Mit Air France kann man von Deutschland aus ziemlich günsig und schnell über Paris nach Bordeaux fliegen.

Getting around

Für circa 4 Euro eine Tram-Tages-Karte. Frei Fahrt zum kleinen Preis.

Must see

Unbedingt die große Kathedrale St. Andre, die Altstadtgassen und das Miroir d`Eauxs an der Garonne.

Nous avions un studio. Nous aurions préféré un canapé lit plutot qu' un grand lit car il ne restait pas beaucoup de place pour circuler, manger,regarder la télévision.

“Citadines Apart'hotel Bordeaux Meriadeck - comodo per la posizione: centro, negozi, attrazioni”

L'appartamento è comodissimo per la sua posizione, la nostra camera dava su un bel parco alberato, con ingresso al centro commerciale a poca distanza. Il centro raggiungibile con tram o in pochi minuio ti a piedi. La zona è sicura! Abbiamo affittato uno STUDIO che può corrispondere al nostro monolocale. Ti forniscono di tutto ciò che può servire per la cucina, spugne per il bagno e fono, tv, radio. E' un pò stretto per due persone soprattutto con il secondo letto fuori, ma basta chiuderlo. Al ricevimento son molto disponibili. I costi per un taxi fino in aeroporto è di € 30 prenotabile tramite il ricevimento. Un corsa di un'ora con il tram € 1.40 ma si può anche acquistare biglietto con 10 corse a ca. € 10,20.. direttamente alle fermate del tram. Consiglio assolutamente questa struttura.

Noi abbiam necessariamente dovuto sceglire Novembre, certo il tempo non era magnifico, ma non da sconsigliare.

Consiglio un locale in centro che si chiama La Raclette... per assaggiare qualcosa di nuovo, raclette!!!
