“Dorint Hotel Bonn”

This hotel is in a hillside neighbourhood not far from Bad Godesberg. The Burg Godesberg is visible from the hotel restaurant as are the Drachenfels ruins further up the Rhein. The hotel staff are outstanding. They make the guest feel very welcome. They are very helpful. The accomodations were excellent. This is the ideal location for someone who wants a quiet location. If one is looking for something close to Bonn's nightlife, then one should look elsewhere. While there were tourists at this hotel, we found most of the guests were business travellers.

Area recommendations
Bonn is an excellent choice for making side trips to Cologne, the Rhein and some of the wine country. The downtown core is small. It does not feel like the former capitol of a major western country. The main attraction in the city is the Beethoven House and Museum. The city has a number of other cultural attractions as well.

“Do I really need a title?”

The hotel is at the top of a hill, in a park. There is no realistic way to get there, or to get to other things, than with a car. The restaurant is excellent. My impression is that Bonn-ers come to this place for a fancy dinner. The room is unusually clean. I even took a bath -- it has to be real clean for me to want to do that. I stayed there in mid-April. The heat had apparently been turned off, I was kind of cold unless under covers. I never asked the front desk, so it's possible something could have been done about it.

“wunderbar ruhige Lage”

Ob man den Weg in das Zentrum von Bonn mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln bewältigen kann weiß ich nicht ,ich befürchte aber dass man das Auto nehmen muss. Aber dafür hat man einen schöne Aussicht,eine wunderbare Luft und Ruhe . Besonders geeignet für Leute die Joggen gehen wollen. Das Hotel liegt wie eine kleine Oase übe der Hektik der Stadt.
