Highly Recommend
Lovely hotel and staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent so cannot understand some other reviews. Location superb. Rooftop terrace is amazing however €15 mandatory first drink was a bit much.

The hot water was quick and strong, and the staff are very friendly and helpful in a variety of ways. I would definitely like to stay here again, because I like this neighborhood of Bologna.

Great hotel
We loved it! We came in from a rainy trip and front desk was so nice! She offered us an upgrade (for a fee) and it was worth it. Beautiful room with a great patio and plenty of space. Close to everything. Would recommend for sure! Pet friendly too!!

We stayed at the Hotel Touring twice: 3 days at the beginning and 3 at the end of our trip. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and super friendly. Breakfast is substantial, the neighborhood is perfect for exploring central Bologna, and the rooms are quiet. There are older rooms that are getting a facelift, but are still very comfy. The new ones are more contemporary with newer elevator, stronger hairdryers, and larger safes. The terrace and garden rooms are great for a limoncello at the end of a long day of walking. The price is right and includes a buffet breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is ideally located in central Bologna. Main attractions are within easy walking distance. Staff very friendly and helpful. Not so good...bedrooms ...very small and basic, albeit, i was aware of this before our arrival by reading other reviews. However, our room was very basic indeed and the bed had ill fitting sheets which is slightly annoying. Our bedroom was quiet but little or no view..into a poorly maintained and dark courtyard. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice of food and drinks.

Centrally located, the Touring Hotel is exactly what we'd hoped for. Comfortable, quiet room, friendly and helpful service, delicious breakfast and within 10 mins walk of all the Bologna highlights. Definitely recommend.

Good location a short walk from Piazza Majorie. Great roof terrace to have drinks & look at the view. We had a suite as we upgraded the room, which was worth it. Spacious with a balcony

We had a great stay at Touring Hotel. It's location is easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants and attractions. The rooms are comfortable and the air conditioner kept us cool during a heat wave. The staff is friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

A very helpful staff, very clean and attractive property, excellent breakfast, and a beautiful terrace. The rooms are small, but no smaller than many NYC hotel rooms.

Great amenities and location
This hotel is in a great location and the rooftop terrace and complimentary breakfast are both quite impressive! The room we were in initially was a bit small and awkwardly laid out, however, we were upgraded to a room with a balcony and that was absolutely wonderful! The staff go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of and we will be back the next time we visit Bologna.

Hotel Touring was an amazing place to stay in Bologna. It is more expensive then others but it is quiet, staff is friendly and the breakfast is great. They also have a roof top terrace which is €12 for guest to enjoy which includes one drink. The location is great for all the sights but a bit of a walk to the train station about 4kms. We had backpacks and walked both ways under the porticos. Recommended by Rick Steves which is how we found it. Rooms are modern with windows that open. We will be staying here again in the future.

They do not turn the air conditioning on in March, even if it is warm outside. The only way to get any air in the room is to open the window. Unfortunately, the hotel is situated in an extremely busy area full of bars and cars and people yelling and honking and screaming. I had a completely sleep last night and will never stay in this hotel again.

Our hotel is actually located in a very quiet area, a very small stree, one way, only at week end could be possible that you had some noise but we are not in a position that could respond to this description.
