Air conditioning was not working in 90+ temperatures. Mortadella at breakfast buffet had green spots. After complain, they replaced it wit the fresh one.

Very poorly lit (not at all) entrance.Rude desk clerk at check in...very reluctant to get water for me.Room was hot. No a/c. Low, hard b3d, flat musty pillows. Phone didn't work. MORE rude desk cleark at checkout. This was a dump

Not even 1 star hotel
One of the worst hotels you can book in bologna, they are self proclaimed 3 stars hotel. Just look at the pictures of safety hazard, socket fell out in hallway and it is exposing live current which is very dangerous specially for young kids. The room itself had only 3 electric sockets, 1 for light 1 for tv and 1 for fridge. If you need to charge your devices or use the socket you will have to turn off one of these things. And the light wasn’t enough in the room with the small ceiling windows. Only good thing about the hotel was the staff who were doing all they could to keep the place running.

The staff here were extremely friendly, and the breakfast was wonderful. I'd booked a single room, but was given a room with two twin beds. The room wasnt huge, but didnt feel crowded, and the bathroom was surprisingly large and modern. An easy walk from the train station, and good access to busses, although I mostly walked to go sightseeing. Great value for money.

The staff were lovely The room was lovely but on the second night the air con broke and had to change rooms from being on the second floor to the 7th not good but it was obviously all they had The shuttle bus was free to get you into Verona. Surrounding areas not that good but overall satisfactory

This hotel is right near the train station and is central to all you want to walk to in Bologna. The main square and churches are close, as are the restaurants that make Bologna famous. The hotel breakfast is good, the staff is friendly. It's an older hotel, so it's got the worn feel that upsets people who want every room new and shiny, but the sheets and bath were clean, the bed comfortable, the room of good value.

The hotel is in desperate need of repair and refurbishment. Water stains and paint peeling on the walls, old and worn linens, etc….they also claim to have a business center and a fitness center on their website but both are not true. The only positive is that the staff is incredibly nice.

Pleasant stay. Staff is fantastic, always with a smile and eager to help. Liked the location, a short walk to the train station and to historic downtown. Got me by surprise that the hotel includes free breakfast. The room was slightly small but still OK

Though it was close to the train station, inexpensive, and the staff was wonderful, the hotel and the room were not great. I don't mind a small room in an older hotel for budget prices, but the beds were incredibly uncomfortable, the bedding was old & scratchy, the only outlet in the bathroom was for a shaver (isn't that nice for men?), and the other outlets in the room were not easy to access and located in weird spots. As much as I loved the staff, I would not stay again.

If you’re looking for the Ritz, this isn’t it. If you need a cheap place to stay somewhat near the train station, it will do. The place is dates, and the carpet in my room was ripped. Bed was two twins pushed together, but not uncomfortable. The a/c didn’t work one of the days, but was fine the next few. The area is a little shady, so be careful if alone at night. The staff was helpful when trying to get a taxi.

It wasn’t very clean. The toilet ran. The beds were put together to make one so one of us was in the crack. It was the smallest shower I’ve ever been in.

This hotel is right close to the train station, but construction makes it easy to get turned around. Although the staff works to make you happy, the ownership does not. My room at $100 was smaller than some closets, seriously you could not fit a double bed in there. Mini-fridge didn't work, air conditioner/heater didn't work. Who puts white carpet on hotel stairs? Top floor looks OK but by the lower floors the carpet is disgusting. The free breakfast was good, but at these prices should include more perks..
