“Bad Choice”

Thiis is a rat bag hotel. My room was depressing and resembled accommodations in an institution. In my haste to book Hotel Pedrini I probably did not notice that rooms did not contain ensuite facilities. Be that as it may, Hotel Pedrini looks very worn and weary and may be ideal for a budget traveler. My room faced the main street and the window and room vibrated when heavy vehicles stopped in front of the property.

Having stayed in quite a few hotels around Italy, I can honestly say that this hotel is great value for money. The fact that most of the staff there really don't speak much english may be a problem for some who need to talk a lot and ask lots of questions.. But if you are happy to just check in and get by with the basics then you will be fine here. Knowing a little Italian goes a long way in Italy and definitely helped here. Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean and tidy rooms, great location (10 min walk to Piazza Maggiore). It's not luxury, but it's comfortable, has everything you need and excellent for the price. Would suit people who are budget concious but who also need somewhere clean and tidy with the basic hotel essentials.

“Hotel Pedrini--”

Think Faulty Towers, Italy. This is not a fancy or elegant hotel--but it is very well located, clean,with a great bathroom and new windows that make it very quiet--even though our room faced the street. The bed was also very comfortable and the cafe next door warm and delicious. That is important, because there is no restaurant in the hotel. There was a small fridge in the room, as well as a safe. The employees were pleasant but didn't knock your socks off. This is a case of you get what you pay for, but with a room that was very comfortable by European standards. We also had no suprises, We did not pay a penny more than we had paid to Expedia. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who doesn't care about fancy, and just wants clean and comfortable without any extras. Bologna, by the way--is fantastic!

“Great location”

This hotel was very conveniently located. The staff was friendly.The room was very nice and comfortable. The lobby of the hotel was unattractive. The only disappointment was the included breakfast. It was served in the bar next door and was not available on Sunday. The cappucino was lukewarm and the single croissant was stale.I would reccomend this hotel to any traveler. I did enjoy the stay.

Très satisfait, hôtel à 2 pas du centre historique, chambre confortable, personnel agréable et multilingue, petit-déjeuner très correct.

Molto cortese il personale. In bella zona, tranquilla, e a circa dieci minuti da Piazza Maggiore. Bagno in camera senza wc e doccia un po' sporca, ma con bagni comuni (compresi di wc e doccia pulitissima). Ottima colazione sia dolce che salata! Molto economico e con disponibilità di parcheggio ad un prezzo accettabile. Nel complesso una buona sistemazione per persone senza troppe pretese!

Es gibt auch schönere Zimmer im 1-2 Stock, im 3. und 4. wird es dann wohl einfacher. Dafür hatte ich ein grosses Zimmer mit Kühlschrank und TV (nur italienisches Programm - der einzige englisch sprachige Sender CNN funktionierte nach 1 1(2 Tagen nicht mehr), grosses Bad, Terasse. Frühstück war ok; Vielfalt an Teilchen und Brot, Käse, Schinken, Salamie, Müsli-Auswahl, Yoghurt, Marmelade+Nutella+Honig und Rühreei. Dazu Kaffee, Espresso, Tee, Saft, Milch. Man sollte allerdings nicht zu spät zum Frühstück erscheinen, da anscheinend nicht nachgepackt wird und es ab 9h wohl kein Rühreei mehr gibt. Es gibt 2 Busse, die Richtung Hauptbahnhof fahren, nur ca 2 Min vom Hotel entfernt, ins Centrum läuft man ca 15Min, die komplette Strada Maggiore entlang. Keine 5Min vom Hotel befindet sich ein kleine Supermarkt, eine Paralellstraße weiter gibt es ein Coop.

all'arrivo faceva un freddo terribile, camera non molto pulita, ma bagno molto molto sporco. il parcheggio mi è costato la bellezza di 15 euro, la colazione si fa al bar di fianco dove si ha diritto a caffè e cornetto e un bicchiere d'acqua si paga!!! si vendono troppo bene per quello che in realtà sono, cercatene un altro.
