“We're coming back.... For sure”

In the heart of everything! No need to taxi or shuttle anywhere. Taxi to train station is 5 minutes away or 25 minutes by foot. All shops and sites are with minutes. I enjoyed the service, breakfast. The room was a bit small but not uncomfortable. The balcony facing the street made up for it! All smiles all the time. Free wi-fi and fast. One of my top 5 stays in Italy

Area recommendations
You can connect to many major cities in the area by train for a full day trip. Florence an hour by train as is Venice. Rome 2 hours away
Getting there
By train is easily accessible. Train terminal is Ashley 5 minute drive
Getting around
Just walk! Everything is a close walk
Dining
Lots of restaurants to pick from. Ask concierge for advise.

“Best historic downtown grand hotel in Bologna”

For downtown Bologna's historic hotels this is as good as it gets. you feel pampered and elitarian. however, if you compare to the top hotels in other cities for similar prices, it leaves you a little bit short of all the special amenities. with that said, it was great.

“chigiamo”

L'unica pecca è stata la camera un pò piccola...per il resto considerato che si trova nel centro storico era da aspettarselo un pò vecchiotto e quindi per mantenere le 5 stelle se facessero una ristrutturatina alle camere non sarebbe male!

“een beetje van de 'oude garde'”

Hotel Majestic kenmerkt zich door perfecte medewerkers die hun best doen om het wat 'verlopen' 5 sterren-imago overeind te houden; het ontbijtbuffet is goed; de kamers zijn schoon, per personeel supervriendelijk en uiterst behulpzaam maar... het hotel is toe aan eenrenovatie en dat zal een kostbare geschiedenis worden... allerlei kleine zaken rammelen. Van knoppen op deuren, geen kaarten maar sleutels voor de kamers; in de badkamers kleine ongemakken zoals loszittende zaken e.d. De lokatie is helemaal perfect; maar de talloze 4 sterrenhotels in de directe omgeving bieden gewoon een betere prijs/kwaliteitverhouding...
