“Good location; excellent, helpful staff”

We found this hotel to be on the outskirts of Bologna and on the bus line to the center and train station. We found the staff so friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The rooms are dated; however, the bathroom are totally updated "green", and had 2 double beds that were very comfortable sleeping! We would stay there again!

“Convenient.......”

Convenient but not beautiful location with parking in suburban location. Nearby bus stop gives easy access to city centre. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Instructions to find hotel from ring road (tangenziale) very clear.

“Second stay - still very impressed”

I thought you would like to know that our stay during June 2009 at Alloro Suites Hotel was great! We arrived at around 11 am and we were able to check-in straight away, so no problems there, and we were shown a room on the 8th floor (the top floor in the hotel). We had booked a standard room, which we were shown, however the reception manager offered us an up-grade to a junior suite which gave a number of enhancements to our stay, including access to Sky tv and unlimited soft drinks from the mini bar. There was also a marvellous walk-in shower, with a variety of devices, rather like a mini-spa. We had a long, sunny balcony which we used every evening for a relaxing drink before going for dinner. The up-graded room was worth every Euro!! We were looked after beautifully by all the staff, so on all fronts it was a lovely stay. We stayed at this hotel about 2 Christmases ago, when it was known as Executive Hotel, and we would certainly stay at Alloro Suites again.

“Great value”

If only all hotels in Italy cost the same. Alloro was the best value hotel in over 2 weeks in Italy. Nice rooms, pretty good breakfast. Neighborhood is not much to look at, but it's a quick bus ride to the action.

“Great hotel”

We stayed at a nice and spacious junior suite. The bathroom was also spacious and beautifully designed. It takes 15 minutes to reach city center on foot.

“worked for us”

Not the most convenient location for touring Bologna, but not far from the airport and train station, which was important. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the included breakfast was hearty. We would return.

“Very impressed”

We went to this hotel on the back of other reviews we wern't dissapointed. A good breakfast is important to start the day, there was a wide range of choice and the waiter made excellent coffee to order. The room was modern plenty of wardrobe space and a good size, and the bathroom has a good supply of fresh towels. The only drawback as stated by others is that it is a twenty minute walk to the attrctions it didn't bother us but may put off elderly or disabled people. The hotel staff were friendly and i would go back again.
