“Beautiful and modern at reasonable price”

Easy to find, helpful staff, good secure parking and a very good value for a totally modern experience. Would seek out this chain of hotels if travelling elsewhere in Europe

“Hotel AC-Marriott di Bologna , un albergo executive moderno, ben tenuto, abbastanza centrale.”

Si tratta di un albergo molto moderno, con arredi che denotano gusto per il design, ( lavabo di cristallo ! ) e attenzione per l'ospite. Ampi spazi comuni, sala colazione e bar molto luminosi e funzionali, personale gentile e disponibile. L'hotel è situato in posizione abbastanza centrale, con parcheggio gratuito e garage, servito da mezzi pubblici. A vocazione schiettamente executive è tuttavia Interessante anche per coppie in viaggio di piacere che amano "coccolarsi" in ambienti hi-tech. Ulteriore nota positiva: colazione compresa nel prezzo ( adeguato allo standard dell'albergo ) a buffet, con scelta limitata ma sempre di qualità, e frigobar GRATIS ( non fornitissimo ma comodo: acqua liscia e gassata, coca normale e light, succo di frutta ) , una vera rarità.

Area recommendations
Per chi viaggia senza auto e deve visitare la città di Bologna è consigliabile alloggiare in zona più centrale, lungo via Indipendenza , dove tra l'altro sono concentrati i principali hotel. Tale sistemazione consente di tornare con facilità, a piedi, in hotel nel corso della giornata per riposare, laversi, depositare eventuali acquisti, nonchè poter poi uscire in serata per la cena senza dipendere da mezzi pubblici. Almeno questo è il mio parere.
When to go
Bologna è una città tutte stagioni in quanto la sua architettura, che comprende chilometri di portici, permette di visitarla con ogni tempo ( noi ci siamo stati anche in inverno con la neve alta ) senza particolari difficoltà
Getting there
Con l'auto è un pò complicato il parcheggio, ci sono varie possibilità in centro con biglietti giornalieri non troppo cari, ma bisogna comunicare il numero di targa - tramite l'albergo - alla Pollizia Municipale per evitare le salate sanzioni percorrendo zone a traffico limitato, con videosorveglianza, peraltro indispensabile per raggiungere il centro. La stazione ferroviaria è piuttosto centrale e consigliamo senz'altro di usare il treno. L'aereoporto è piuttosto fuori città ma è servito sia da mezzi pubblici che da un efficiente e non molto caro servizio taxi.
Getting around
Incantevoli negozi di ghiottonerie crude e cotte, vini , bijuotteria e valigeria vintage, abbigliamento e calzature frirmati, e poi tante librerie, antiquari, forni artigianali...unica scelta il gusto persionale ed il tempo a disposizione. Ovviamente il tutto rigorosamente a piedi per le vie del centro all'interno della vecchia cinta muraria di cui restano quasi tutte le porte. Ci sono anche vari musei, chiese, la cattedrale di San Petronio, le due torri degli Asinelli ed una infinità di locali dove gustare la cucina tipica bolognese e quelle etniche magari ascoltando musica dal vivo. Insomma una sosta per tutti i gusti. La vita sociale, vivacizzata da una popolazione studentesca tra le più numerose d'Italia, è colorata e piacevolmente contrasta con la storicità dell'architettura.

“AC Hotel-ottimo business hotel”

Personale disponibile,hotel funzionale ed organizzazione eccellente.....uno dei migliori a Bologna.......a 5 min dal Centro di Bologna.........qualità elevata......consiglio vivamente.

“AC Hotel Bologna”

Anche se un pò decentrato rispetto al centro città, è comunque abbastanza facilmente raggiungibile con i mezzi pubblici dalla stazione centrale e, volendo e disponendo di tempo, anche a piedi in una ventina di minuti ; il centro città si raggiunge in un tempo ragionevole sia con i mezzi pubblici che a piedi; le stanze sono ampie e ben curate, i servizi dispongono di vasca da bagno che non è sempre presente in tutti gli hotel e propongono una curiosissima saponetta a forma di pallina da tennis decisamente gradevole e sono decisamente puliti e ben tenuti. E' a disposizione un centro fitness ed un bagno turco che però deve essere attivato dal cliente (e io non ci sono riuscito): Forse la colazione dovrebbe essere uin pò più varia ma comunque è accettabile. Visto il rapporto qualità/prezzo è comunque consigliabile per chi vuole una ospitalità di buon livello in vicinanza del centro città senza spendere cifre molto elevate. Io lo riutilizzerò sicuramente

vanno bene tutte le stagioni anche se d'estate il clima è spesso afoso e d'inverno qualche volta nevica, ma in questo caso lo spettacolo può essere bello

sicuramente in treno; da Roma si raggiunge in poco più di 2 ore e da Milano in un'ora circa; meglio che con l'automobile visto che il centro città è zona a traffico vietato e si può tranquillamente visitare a piedi

“AC Hotel-ottimo business hotel vicino al centro storico”

Ottimo design hotel, estremamente confortevole e molto ben arredato. Ottima organizzazione e splendida la zona relax al 6°piano. Consigliato visto anche lo scarso livello di hotel più centrali (ne ho frequentati diversi e parlo dunque per esperienza diretta). Il centro è facilmente raggiungibile in auto o in taxi,meno con i mezzi pubblici.

Area recommendations
Hotel vicno alla zona Fiera e vicino a Via Irnerio, uno degl'ingressi della città. Non consigliato per coloro che vogliono vivere Bologna a piedi ma molto confortevole ed organizzato.
