“Well worth it.”

The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom had a cool heat lamp in the ceiling for when you got out of the shower. The walls were a bit thin and we heard all the drama coming from the next room over. That was the only downfall. The staff was very friendly and helpful (but then again everyone in Boise was!).

“Great location.”

The motel is a little dated but the location and price make up for most of the flaws. It's easy walking to the downtown restuarants and bars. The staff were friendly and polite. I would have no problem staying there again.

“Nice Stay. Will come back again.”

I had a nice 3 day stay at the hotel and it was really nice. The shower in the room did not work one day but I guess its a human error, so I wont think too much about it.

“Still upgrading”

Owyhee is in a good location and clean. The front desk was very understanding and accommodating when we asked to change from one to two rooms, and gave us a very fair price. In going from an upgraded room to one not upgraded, we definitely felt the difference, but still were comfortable. They need mini-refridges in the room- an easy convenience that was annoying not to have.

Area recommendations
It's a small city so anywhere downtown is fine. You want to be within walking distance to 8th street.

8th street is a blast.

“good value”

A good experience overall. Convenient location downtown, clean and comfortable room, friendly front desk staff. My only complaint was inability to connect to Wifi in my room, though I was able to use the computer in the lobby.

“Good could be better”

The hotel is very old and could use a lot of updating, the rooms are nice, the bathrooms are very small and need updating. The elevator had a musty smell when you got onto it. I think with some updating to the lobby, restaurant and bar area it could be an exceoptional hotel.

Area recommendations
The shops, and restaurants in the walking area were a perfect fit for our trip. Would love to go back to this area again didn't make it to all the restaurants I would have liked to try!

“Excellent!”

My husband and I recently stayed at the Owyhee Plaza and went to an Idaho Stampede game. It was easily within walking distance to the Qwest Arena as well as downtown restaurants and shops. They have a nice little lounge where we caught some live music when we returned from the game and had a great breakfast in the hotel restaurant the next morning. Excellent! We will stay there again.
