“Very nice hotel!”

The nicest staff and service was awesome. Most comfortable bed we have ever slept in, I am trying to find the sheets online to buy them for my home. My husband has had neck problems for the past two years and his neck actually felt better after sleeping in the hotel's bed. The steak house was superb, great food and service. We won't stay anywhere else in Boise!

“Nice and close to great bars!!”

Great place located close to downtown happening bars and events in the area...can walk to ton of bars and food joints...if you coming to Boise to experience partying stay@43, nice comfy beds close and affordble compared to other hotels in area you have to drive or take a taxi to have a good time!!!

“Nice downtown Boise escape”

A nice elegant hotel. Rooms were a bit small and the hotel lacks some family friendly perks like a pool. Staff was great.

“Pretty Good”

Nice, vibrant decor. Chandlers restaurant good for a cocktail at the bar. Easy walking distance to other downtown shops and restaurants. Easy access to freeway/connector. In-room Wi-Fi is easy to access and free. Valet or self parking in the covered garage was $10 per night. Quiet location, but air conditioning unit was very loud making it difficult to sleep soundly.

Area recommendations

Sodo or 8th Street for dinner and shopping. In summer float the Boise river on rented rafts available at the launch point at Barber Park (about five miles east of downtown). There is a designated raft exit at the end of the float where you will find a shuttle to take you back to Barber Park and your car. You leave the raft with the staff at the drop off so no need to deal with returning the raft. About a 2-1/2 hour float. Very easy float you can do with kids.

“Finding My Glee at Hotel 43”

Decent hotel. Clean. Nice Service. Stay in Boise frequently. Wouldn't pay full price as I don't think the place demands it. Comfortable bed and good quality pillows. A good view of downtown 4th floor up, on the east side towards the foothills.

Area recommendations

Downtown Boise. Hotel 43 is conveniently located close to everything. Real quality food and service as opposed to the overpriced and overrated Portland area. Walking distance to history and art museum, greenbelt, art galleries, breweries, great places for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

“Very nice hotel, very nice city”

At the last minute, we decided to go to Boise for the long memorial day weekend. The hotel was extremely good value. It's a very nice, well appointed hotel in an excellent location. A very nice touch was the teddy bear wearing a little "Hotel 43" bathrobe. The heart of downtown Boise is a short walk away, with some excellent restaurants and interesting shops and small museums.

Area recommendations

Be sure to do the day trip to Shoshone Falls in Twin Falls, Idaho, less than two hours away -- especially if the water levels are high as they are in late spring.
