Great place to stay at! The apartments are a bit dated but it looks like they are in the process of being remodeled. Would definitely stay there again.

It’s a very good hotel. There where some issues regarding transportation (we asked for a large SUV/Van but a small crossover showed up) to the Airport but they quickly resolved it.

There was a paint workers on the hallway; the paint odor and dust go into the apartment; i am sure they have other apartments with out this problem, but they did not said nothing or just do not care about that. People all around where very nice.

Mostly everyone here at the hotel is very friendly, kind and polite. Very efficient and get things done quickly. The hotel is very well located which helps with the challenging traffic in Bogota. We are enjoying our staying so far with our family. There is a tiny chapel and daily there’s a mass at 11:30am which is very nice and convenient if you want to join. If you are here to see family the hotel makes things easier for everyone. People at the Italian restaurant are very professional and friendly. The food is amazing. Breakfast is good too. Thanks to everyone for making things easier for us. We really enjoyed staying here.

The hotel it’s gorgeous, we stayed in one of the apts and was lovely, clean, roomy, the breakfast buffet is delicious. The sushi bar it’s great with the live music. I can’t complain about the staff or anything in this hotel.

The property is divided the apartments and the hotel, the apartments are managed by other companies, the services and the apartments have terrible furniture and interior conditions. These companies must be corrected immediately because it is damaging the image of all properties, including the Fontana Hote

Excellent location. Stayed at the apartments since I was traveling w kids. Fantastic 2b/2br 700 sq foot, small kitchen, no microwave. Good buffet breakfast, great cafeteria and restaurant. Best city mall just across the street. Safe location.

Excellent location, great mall just across the street, 2 bed/2br apt was very roomy, 700sq feet, small kitchen w stove but no microwave, no cutlery, some dishes and mugs. Music from the patio is very annoying, had to call every night to have it shut; windows are thin w a crack in between (building from the 70s). Nice bar w good spirits, cocktails, espresso machine and sushi bar. Nice buffet breakfast in a different restaurant than the one when you book hotel not apt, but equally delicious although less fancy. Nice coffee store, excellent service and good pastries.

Did not live up to stellar or ESTELAR expectations
Having lived in Bogotá for over 5 years and having traveled around Colombia a bit I am familiar with the Estelar brand. The hotel if very nice. However, the apartments fall short. From the service to the shampoo our one week stay was all around disappointing. Also, somehow during my brief stay, the price per dog (I have two) suspiciously went up 50% during our stay… while I was long time loyal to Estelar I can say I was quite disappointed. I realize the price is attractive, but it’s Bogotá and this neighborhood is Unicentro, one of the nicest in town. There are plenty of better and better priced alternatives.

El hotel es muy bonito en sus áreas comunales pero las habitaciones están demasiado descuidadas. Las cortinas sucias, los toma corrientes no funcionaban, cables sueltos fuera de la ventana. Primero nos asignaron un apartamento que olía a guardado y pedimos el cambio y aunque estuvo algo mejor la otra habitación, se nota mucho descuido y falta de mantenimiento. Es una pena por que el hotel en general es muy bonito.

Back to the 90’s
The lobby makes you feel like you are walking into a modern, clean nice hotel. However, as soon as you step into the hallways, elevators and rooms you are going to feel like you are being taken back in time to the 90’s. Rooms and condos are outdated and in need of a renovation. Our bathroom was dirty, I called the front desk to report the issue, came back 3 hours later, bathroom was still in bad condition.
