“Great facilities, pity about the location”
I recently stayed at Mystic Borum for 4 nights. The facilities in the hotel are great and all very well maintained. Breakfast was fantastic and better than some of the 5 star rated hotels. The only downside was the location. It's quite a long walk to the centre of town so you may need to get taxis if you're not prepared for the exercise. The hotel does offer a free shuttle service to the 2 local beached (Bitez & Gumbet) and will also pick you up.
“I would never return...”
The hotel is located at the top of a hill and not too far from the marina and local beaches. A car is necessary to get around. In general, the room furniture is relatively new, the hotel is clean and comfortable. The food was tasty. We went to Turkey in September and it was still pretty hot outside (temperature was ranging between 90F to 100F). One booking a reservation at a 4-star hotel would expect the air-conditioning system to operate 24 hours a day (regardless of the outside temperature). Surprisingly, at this hotel the air-conditioner is kept off all day, which if not offensive is certainly unpleasant and forces guest to go outside. The hotel management argued that they received orders only to put the air-conditioner on after 8 PM. This was just ridiculous. I would never recommend this hotel to friend. Just don’t stay there. You can get better service for the same or lower price.
“Dedeman Hotel,Bodrum,Turkey”
The hotel is overlooking a beuatiful mountinous view, but is a little bit isolated. You need a taxi to go any where. Rooms and bath rooms were clean. However, the rooms were uncomfotably hot (especially during day time),eventhough there is central air-condotioning. The WIFI internet is so slow and cuts off so often.
